SMUT WARNING ⚠️
I don't give much warning but this chapter is a bit heavy ;)

I was alone in the basement, my secret haven beneath the building, practicing my shooting. The sound of gunfire echoed in the dimly lit room, bouncing off the concrete walls as I fired at the target. My movements were precise, controlled, each bullet hitting its mark with satisfying accuracy. This was my space, my way to release the tension that had built up over the past few days.
I pulled the trigger again, hitting the target square in the center, when I heard a sound behind me. I turned slightly and saw Jungkook standing in the doorway, his eyes fixed on me. His face was a mix of curiosity and something else, something darker that I couldn't quite place. A small, smug smile crept onto my lips. He looked so out of place here, his neat suit contrasting with the harsh, industrial vibe of the basement.
"Well, well," I said, lowering my gun but keeping it in hand, "I didn't expect to see you here, Mr. Jeon."
My voice was nonchalant, deliberately casual, testing his reaction. "Didn't take you for someone who would find his way into a secret basement like this."
Jungkook's eyes narrowed slightly, a hint of confusion flashing in them.
"I didn't even know this place existed," he admitted. "One of your colleagues told me you wanted to see me here. What is this place, Miss Choyaa?"
"A little escape from the office politics," I replied smoothly, my eyes still on him. "Somewhere I can practice without prying eyes. Future CEO needs to know how to defend herself, you know." I turned my attention back to the target, firing off another shot. The bullet hit its mark, and I felt a sense of satisfaction swell in my chest.
"Self-defense?" he repeated, his tone skeptical. "It looks more like you're preparing for war." Jungkook watched me, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. I smirked, lowering the gun again.
"In our line of work, sometimes the line between self-defense and war gets blurry." I looked over at him, noting the way his eyes followed my movements, calculating, almost predatory.
"You're the manager of SangLee Gam L.M.T's vice president now, aren't you? Shouldn't you know your way around a weapon?" I added
He didn't respond immediately, just kept watching me with that unreadable expression. The silence stretched between us, charged with an undercurrent of tension I couldn't quite place. Finally, he spoke.
