“Sometimes the ‘win’ is in the ‘loss’,

In its ugliest form.”

-------------

Losing something very important through the slit of your fingers can be worse when you know you could have achieved it if you'd have tried better if not the best.

But sometimes it's better to lose than to win because they make you realise the worth of the things you're working hard for. It makes you learn the importance and shows the reality when you realise what that is which you're missing out on. It gives the taste of that bitter medicine which you never wish to try , a loss.

And it would be better to say that taehyung feels bitter in his tongue when he realises he literally lost it and there is no retrieving back of what he lost. He lost his dream of being someone of his own. He missed the opportunity to stand back on his feet all tall and firm in front of the world just because of his own negligence.

It's all on him , isn't it?

Taehyung questioned himself in his head. It's been forty five minutes since he has been waiting here in some opulent restaurant just in hope that perhaps the other party is late and would show up miraculously even though he knows it's a lie.

Several empty cups of coffee lay in front of him as he sighed and leaned back on his chair.

No one's coming anymore , taehyung.

Inserting the talk in his mind he picked up his wallet and phone before leaving from there. Unknowingly his hand started to search for the number in the next dial as he waited for his best friend to pick up but as he guessed no response.

Knowing his friend in and out , taehyung knew he had to face the wrath now that he has to go back to London without any outcome. At this moment he doesn't even know why he even came here in the first place.

You were forced , remember.

Taehyung rolled his eyes when his subconsciousness answered his every doubt. Walking down the street , the silver haired boy only wishes to reach his room soon and sleep the disappointment out of his system. He despises having to think about things which he had lost , since he believes that the things you've lost were never meant to be yours so never run back in search of it ever again.

And sticking to his policy taehyung knows that he's not going back to Han's for the second chance anymore. Ruffling his hair frustratingly when Yoo-jung didn't pick up his call even after five times in the row he felt like shit.

Hoping she would pick up the next time he dialed once again and much to his fortune he has never been this happy ever before.

"Thank goodness you picked up , yiyi." Taehyung exclaimed , even though he tried to sound cheery , Yoo-jung knows him better. He was only trying to flush his failure out of his system by thinking that he doesn't care when in reality he does.

Taehyung has always been like this , not accepting things when they should be accepted and then remain in denial for a while until it finally slaps him into reality.

And just because of this Yoo-jung wish , taehyung wouldn't face the great pain when the reality would slap him once Mirage would crumble right in front of their eyes.
