Chapter 13: A glimpse of Memories

"I realised my mistake. We need to talk."  When Taehyung heard Jungkook say this , he wasn't sure of what he had heard. With wide eyes staring at Jungkook and mouth gaping at him the silver haired boy only nodded his head in daze.

Well how could he even react to something like this other than shock , because it was the first time his Rapunzel had approached him and moreover to apologise and that too to him...the world must be ending , is all taehyung could think of.

"Is it already the end of the world?" Taehyung asked , all of a sudden tilting his face towards the window as he bent to look at the sky causing Jungkook to stare at him in confusion until it dawned upon him that the younger one was mocking him.

"Shut up." Jungkook snapped as he released his arms and gestured for taehyung to follow him. The silver haired guy pointed at himself before looking here and there which pissed the blonde guy more than he already was.

"Taehyung. Yes you , I want to talk with you. Now c'mon , don't be dramatic." Jungkook took his name with a hint of warning in them as if he was scolding the silver haired boy which bloomed a bashful smile on his face. With his every tooth on display taehyung followed Jungkook like a puppy but not before instructing something to Soobin.

"Beanie , my friend will reach here in a few minutes. Please attend her while I'm gone , I'll join her after a while." Taehyung smiled gratefully at Soobin who had nodded his head like it was nothing which made him feel assured.

"Thanks." Yelling it , taehyung made a run when he saw Jungkook already moving much ahead of him as he closed the door behind him once they were inside Jungkook's office.

"So what do you wanna say , sir?" Jungkook winced when he heard the formal honorific taehyung used for him as he turned and faced the silver haired guy with guilt swirling in his eyes causing taehyung to gulp slightly.

"I'm sorry." Taehyung bit his lips as he turned his face away from Jungkook making the older boy hiss at his behaviour. Jungkook who was feeling guilty for his actions was now regret letting those words to ever escape his lips that day.

"For what , sir?" Taehyung asked , he wasn't letting this go easily. Attraction or not , feelings or not , everything is on the other side and self respect on the other. It wasn't like he wasn't going to forgive jungkook ever but it's wasn't like this as well , that he would forgive him easily. The older one has to try a little harder.

"Jungkook. You can call me Jungkook , that's my name." Jungkook answered as he for a moment saw a happy glint flickering in taehyung's eyes before it was gone. He felt a little happiness within himself that at least taehyung was appreciating his name , if not an apology.

"Doesn't matter now , does it? I've somewhere to go , please make it quick?" Taehyung spoke , his hand raising to check on the time as he cursed under his breath. His tone didn't carry any rudeness in them , instead it was pleading which proved jungkook that indeed the boy was busy.
