I was in my office making an important call to one of our Investors who base in Germany

Mr ANOVA sure likes to stress me by sprinkling a little bit of German into our conversation knowing fully well  I don't speak German

The last time I complained to him about it, he had said he that
he is teaching me so I could be fluent in  it so in the future we could communicate better with it

But right now this is not what I need I thought to myself

As I was still in the middle of my conversation with Mr ANOVA I heard my door and closed gently

I turned to see who it was thinking it was James but no it was my brother chuks the sales executive of the company

I then held up one finger signaling him to hold on let me finish call

After about an extra ten to fifteen minutes I was finally done with Mr ANOVA I then ended the call and put down my phone

How can I help you brother I asked him as I look through my desk for some files I was going through earlier before I received the call

Father had requested that me , you and Allen should come by the house by 6
he said he has something important to discuss with us especially with you

Amara raised her with a confused expression on her face and asked
With me Amara asked while looking at her brother with  a narrow  confused eye brows

Why expecially with me , did you ask him what it is about Amara asked her brother

No I didn't Amara ,   you know I don't question him on stuff like this especially if they are serious and he sounded really important,  chuks replied

Ok I will be ready before six so we all could go together

And don't forget to tell Allen ok Amara said as she went back to her file while her brother left her office to his

Jane picked up her phone getting ready to call Amara hoping she could secure another date with her tonight

On the first ring there was a pick up,  hello!! Amara said

Hey babe how are you doing Jane asked with a cheerful Voice to Amara

I am fine and you  Amara asked while arranging her accessories as she is about to leave with her brother's

Am doing good babe Jane said and then continued I was wondering if we could go out together tonight, it been long since we went out

Huh ,Uhh i  am so sorry Jane  I would have to decline I have a meeting with my father by 6  Amara said while still gathering her accessories

Oh really Jane said disappointed that she won't be able to go out with Amara , so when will we be able to see I miss you ? She said 

I don't know Jane  I will have to  check my schedule and let you know Amara said as she called out to James to come shut her office windows  and curtains

Are you leaving  the office Jane asked as she heard Amara grabbing her set of keys and also calling her assistant James to shut everything down

Yes I am Amara answered as she took her office suitcase heading towards the elevator

Jane checked the time and saw it was just twenty minutes past 5 , what kind of meeting is Amara heading because it quite unusual for Amara to leave her office so early

One thing she knows Amara for is her workaholic nature , because on a  normal day she is always the last person leaving the company building

it seems this meeting is important for her to close up so early, it better she ask Amara now  she thought to herself

It just past 5 you don't close by this time what is going on Jane asked

I don't know what is going on , my father demanded I come with my brothers to the mansion by 6 , so when I get there I will find out what is going on Amara said

Oh ok babe let me know what up ok Jane said

Yeah I will bye Amara said

Bye love I love you Jane said hoping Amara will say it back

Yeah thanks Amara said then ended the call quickly without waiting for Jane to say anything

Jane looked at her phone with a little bit of sadness, it getting hard every day to break through to Amara

Even with all her beauty and wealth Amara is still shutting her out

And no matter how many times she throws herself at Amara , Amara won't even acknowledged her

It got her thinking how can she stay married to her if this how their life will be

Jane couldn't help but harbour all of these thoughts in her mind

How she wishes Amara will just forget about the past and make love to her

So all her worries will go away
