James woke up that morning, he felt like he was burning on his back and shoulders. He sat up and he was alone, yet there was a scent. He remembered that scent, the scent of the female he ignored.
James groaned when he looked into his mirror, there was scratch marks down his back and shoulders. 'Knock knock, is anyone home.' A female voice was heard on the other side of the door.
James put on a randomly shirt and opened the door to reveal a black haired woman, 'Hey male'—'You look like shit.' James rolled his eyes at her words, 'so who did you have sex with this night?.' The female questioned, the man stayed silent before replying, 'No one important.' He knows that the person wasn't just a no one.
The group was walking around the school, they were gossiping about the party last night.
Yet James never mentioned where he went that night, 'Male was cock blocking me.' The blue haired male said, the female giggled right beside him. 'Ima go to class today, bye chat.' James was lying about going to class, he would never go there.
James walked around thinking about last night until a familiar man came up to him, 'Hey dude.' The man said excitedly, 'Hey Gaston.' James smiled.
The two talked for a few minutes before Gaston brought up a question, 'Where did you go last night?.' James stayed quiet about the one singular question that he hoped nobody would ask, 'I was with Bridget.' The words slipped out of James mouth, he didn't wanna lie to his friend.
Gaston heart shattered upon hearing her name again, 'Well, what did you guys do?.' The man questioned not trying to sound hurt. James sighed before answering, 'We had sex, that's all. I don't love her.' James was ashamed of his own voice and words.
There was nothing but birds chirping including sounds of talking and laughter from students, 'Stop lying with those words.' The words ringed in James head.
Was he actually lying?, Was he gaslighting himself that he didn't love her sweet laughter, the joyness in her words and the soft stares she would give him.
James shook his head, 'I'm not lying, why would I lie to you?.' Gaston was hurting by his words right now, he had sex with someone he wished James didn't do it with.
Bridget was running down the halls that night, she was regretting everything she has ever done. She wasn't even ready to have sex, she just couldn't control her actions. She feels stupid and hurt, she was still 16. She was crying away, she wished she never went to the party.
Ella was worrying about her sweet friend the entire day, she hasn't showed up to anything at all. It isn't normal for Bridget to disappear without a reason, so without doubt. Ella was in front of Bridget's door, feeling insanely worried more than ever.
Bridget was staring at herself in the mirror, she didn't look like herself. Some people can say she's overreacting and that it was her fault, she can admit that it was her fault. She was a stupid teenager that went out to a party and drank all night just to end up in someone's bed.
She just wished she could've done better, she didn't mean for it to end up like that.
