She pinned her hands on each of the side as i gulped down

"Why are you late" she said in a cold deep voice I got goosebumps

"I-i was with my friend"

"This late with a friend what were you doing"

"I-i was meeting up with my old friend i didn't realise the time" as soon as I said she slammed the walls

"YOUR THIS LATE WITH A DAMN BOY ROAMING AROUND YOU" she said yelling

"Don't yell at me" she held my chin with her hand harshly kissing me as i again tried pushing her but couldn't

I was already in tears she pulled away

"What why are you crying when i touched you huh who knows where did that boy touc-" i slapped her hard she looked back at me

"What couldn't handle the truth the truth hurts you that much"she said again

"STOP IT YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HIM AND MY RELATION YOUR ASSUMING ALL THESE" i said losing my control

"I'm assuming which type of 'boy friend' holds your hand in public huh tell me you have a answer"

"We're just too close to eachother we're childhood friends"i said

"YEAH RIGHT CHILDHOOD FRIENDS WITH BENE-" i slapped her again my tears falling down

She kissed me harshly as she pulled my neck to deepen the kiss i was pushing her

As she tried kissing me i bit her lips she pulled away touching her lips

"Can't I touch you can't I kiss you huh that man can do anything I can't even touch your hand"

"It's not like that you're assuming everything"i said again as a answer she stormed off going out

I sighed as i wipped my tears

Two weeks later

Since that incident she would completely ignore me all the time if I tried approaching her she would just go away ignoring me if I tried talking to her she would just say she's working and go away I was tired from all of it

Engfah's pov

I was tired to face this issues so i ignored her but usually when she didn't notice I would see if she's ok or not maybe because I'm still trying to be a wife not cheat

As always I went home late but didn't find charlotte it was rare that she wouldn't be there i went to her room to check

She was sleeping on bed she was curled up into a ball

I went a little close and saw dried tears

"Huh" why was she crying

I checked the date

"Oh my god this periods will kill me" it was her date my periods went cleared some days ago

I looked around she didn't take pills

I went downstairs and made a hot bag and took some pills just in case

I went back to her room as I tried putting the hot bag i felt her body burn like fire

"You have a fever"i said as i quickly took some tablets as i went near her

I shook her "charlotte wake up" she opened her eyes but didn't move

I put the bag on her abdomen as I tried giving her the medicines but she was refusing

"Eat it you have high fever"i tried giving her but she turned her head to the other side

"Atleast drink some water"i tried giving her she refused everything

"Oh come on don't be dumb eat this"she just refused

I put the tablet and water in my mouth and i kissed her she flinched at first as i didn't pull back till she took the tablet

After taking the tablet i pulled away covered her with the blanket as she just stared at me i laid down next to her pulling her closer massaging her abdomen

I felt she quickly relaxed and slowly fell asleep

Next morning

I woke up and saw her still sleeping in my arms

I couldn't lie she looked like a angel direct from the heavens i put the strand of her hair behind her ear

As she woke up our eyes met my heart started bamming against my ribcage wanting to get out

What is this feeling

"What"she said as she sat up and again laid down groaning because of cramps

"Nothing just staring at you" [engfah is really straightforward or sometimes beating around the bush]

"Why so early in the morning"

"I just woke up can't i just look at you" i said a bit frustrated by her question

"Don't you ignore me"she said as i remembered

"I was just angry at that moment ok"i said trying to defend myself

"Yeah yeah" she scoffed off

"I'm telling the truth I was angry at you"

"You don't even know how to apologise"i added

"Why will I apologise it's your fault"

We argued for a while but came to a conclusion

"I'm sorry ok i didn't understand that time"i said as she showed a proud smile my heart pounded

"That's right"she said

"I'm sleepy now I want to sleep it's Sunday so I don't have work"i said laying down next to her

"Ok"she said moving away

"Why are you moving away"i said confusingly

"I'm not"she answered

"Ok your not" saying that i pulled her by her waist slowly felling asleep
