Hyunjin had been working as a photographer at LUX Agency, a massive media corporation known for its high-profile clients and cutting-edge campaigns, for nearly five years. He had seen all kinds of models come and go—some stunning, some unremarkable—but none had ever truly captured his attention beyond the lens. His work was his passion, and he had learned to keep his emotions locked away, hidden behind the cold metal of his camera.

That was, until Felix walked in.

It was an ordinary Wednesday afternoon when Hyunjin first saw him. The meeting room was bustling with noise as the casting directors prepared for the new talent. Hyunjin, as always, remained quietly behind his camera, adjusting the settings, getting ready to shoot.

Then Felix stepped into the studio.

Tall, slender, with golden hair that fell in soft waves around his face, Felix moved with a quiet grace that drew every eye in the room. His sharp features were softened by a playful smirk that tugged at the corners of his lips, and his eyes—Hyunjin noticed them immediately—were a deep, warm brown, filled with a kind of mystery that made Hyunjin's breath catch for a moment.

Hyunjin blinked and quickly refocused on his work, trying to shake off the sudden and unexpected wave of attraction.

"That's Felix," one of the casting directors whispered to Hyunjin. "New face. Just signed his contract. Big things expected from him."

Hyunjin nodded, keeping his expression neutral. But as Felix stepped in front of the backdrop, ready for his test shots, Hyunjin felt a flicker of something he hadn't felt in a long time—anticipation. He lifted the camera to his eye and snapped the first shot.

"Ready?" Hyunjin asked, his voice steady, though his heart was anything but.

Felix met his gaze through the lens, his eyes narrowing slightly as if he could see right through Hyunjin. "Always ready," Felix replied, his voice smooth, carrying a hint of something playful but also... guarded.

Hyunjin snapped another shot, the sound of the shutter filling the quiet space. As the session went on, Hyunjin couldn't help but notice how Felix seemed to transform in front of the camera. Every tilt of his head, every shift of his body, was deliberate yet effortless. There was an elegance to his movements, but beneath it, Hyunjin sensed something darker. Something Felix was hiding.

And Hyunjin was determined to find out what it was.

Over the next few weeks, Felix became the agency's most talked-about model. He was everywhere—billboards, magazines, fashion shows. Hyunjin, as the lead photographer, worked closely with him, and their interactions became more frequent. Professional, at first, but there was an unspoken tension between them, a subtle push-and-pull that neither seemed willing to acknowledge.

"You're really good at this," Hyunjin said one evening after a long shoot, the words slipping out before he could stop them.

Felix smirked, pulling off his jacket and tossing it over a chair. "You make it easy. You're the one with the magic behind the camera."

Hyunjin let out a small chuckle, feeling a warmth spread through him at the compliment. "I'm just doing my job."

Felix's gaze lingered on him for a moment, something unspoken flickering in his eyes. "We're both just doing our jobs. But that doesn't mean it's all we are, right?"

Hyunjin's brow furrowed. "What do you mean?"

Felix leaned against the wall, his arms crossed, as he studied Hyunjin. "You're good at reading people. I can tell. But I get the feeling you're always hiding behind that camera. What are you afraid of?"
