At the monastery a monk was grabbing it crops from the monastery gardens and putting it in the weaved basket. "Hei Ji, aje ke vaduna" (Hey Jie, hurry up with the vaduna.) A female monk said, Vana, a teen Trimurti walked over to Jie who was slowly grabbing the vaduna.

"Tui he vaduna ko thik tarika se nahee chalaat he tho tum ekthare khud karein." (If you don't like the way I pick the vaduna, then you can do it yourself) Jie said, looking over at the female monk. Vana sighed and decided to help Ji with the task. The weather was nice, but it suddenly turned cloudy and grey, which was unusual because it had been nice all day. As they continued their work, a gentle breeze picked up, the leaves rustled in the wind.

Jie stopped picking the vegetables; he suddenly felt something ominous coming. "Hos ke tum bhae sako sakta hie?" (Do you feel that?)Jie said as he looked over to where he felt the ominous aura. "Aho bhi ho sako sakta hie." (I feel it to.)Vana said seriously. As both monks stood there, the bell rang loudly, sending both monks to the courtyard where the rest of the monks and grandmasters had gathered. Inside the monastery, monks rushed outside, and David, alerted, also got up. Instead of joining the others, he looked for his wife, Megan.

"Megan!" David yelled. Megan came around the corner and walked over to him. "I'm fine, what's happening?" Megan asked worriedly.

"It's the sound of the battle bell; danger is approaching," stated Grandmaster Aeleth with a solemn tone.

"What?! Hugo...we must get to Hugo," exclaimed Megan, but Grandmaster Aeleth halted her. "Megan, go to Hugo, but do not open that door," she cautioned. Megan simply nodded in acknowledgment. "David, we'll need you to stay by our side; Nyrthos can ensure your wife's safety if anything should happen," Grandmaster said as she strode away towards the courtyard.

David gazed at his wife, locking eyes with her before tenderly kissing Megan on the forehead. "Stay safe," he whispered softly. "I should be telling you that," Megan replied with a wry smile.

A quiet chuckle escaped David's lips as he leaned in to give her one more lingering kiss before dashing off to the courtyard. As Megan watched him disappear, she swiftly and cautiously made her way toward the Memory Room.

In the courtyard, David joined the gathered monks, their faces a mixture of calm focus and tension. Grandmaster Gin stood at the center, his robes billowing in the wind as the storm clouds darkened further.

"Prepare yourselves," he announced, his voice steady but commanding. "Something powerful approaches—more powerful than anything we've encountered in years."

Suddenly, the earth trembled beneath their feet, and the air around them thickened with an oppressive force. From the far side of the valley, a dark female silhouette emerged, shrouded in swirling shadows. Its presence was like a blot on the landscape, a void that consumed the light around it.

Grandmaster Aeleth narrowed her eyes, her grip tightening on her staff. "It's here."

"Grandmaster Aeleth, form a force field." Grandmaster Gin said

Without hesitation, Aeleth closed her eyes, her body stilling as she drew in a deep breath. With a fluid motion of her arms, she summoned icy shards that began to swirl around the monastery. The ice formed into jagged icicles, rising rapidly to encase the grounds. In moments, the icicles fused into a towering dome of ice, shimmering with an ethereal glow that enclosed the entire monastery.

The protective barrier stood strong, its cold surface reflecting the dark clouds above. But outside the dome, the shadowed figure continued its approach, undeterred by the ice dome, its presence a harbinger of the battle to come.

As the ice dome formed around the monastery, the temperature in the courtyard dropped dramatically, and a faint mist rose from the ground. David, standing beside Grandmaster Gin, watched the dark silhouette approaching. The figure seemed unaffected by the barrier or the cold. Its steps were slow but deliberate, as though it was savoring the tension in the air.

"That's not going to stop her for long," David murmured, gripping his sword tightly.

Grandmaster Gin gave a slight nod, his expression unreadable but his posture tense. "It will buy us time. Time we need to prepare."

"Get into formation!" bellowed one of the grandmasters, prompting the monks to swiftly take their positions. "David, you will accompany me," declared Grandmaster Gin.

The monks moved with precision, quickly forming a defensive circle around the courtyard, their hands glowing with magic, ready to defend the monastery. The air was thick with tension, as each monk's focus turned to the looming dark figure outside the shattered ice barrier.

David nodded at Grandmaster Gin's command, tightening his grip on his sword as he stepped closer to the grandmaster. "What's the plan, Grandmaster?" David asked, his voice steady but filled with urgency.

Grandmaster Gin's eyes remained fixed on the dark figure, now slowly advancing toward the monastery. "We'll cut through the shadow force directly. The monks will focus on defense, but you and I—" Gin paused, his eyes narrowing as he turned to David, "—we'll go on the offensive."

David's heart raced, but he kept his composure. "Understood."

As the dark sorceress drew closer, her blue eyes glowing with malice, she looked directly at David. Shadows swirled around her, forming tendrils that seemed to writhe and reach out, hungry for destruction. The shadows pressed against the forced field and looked directly at David. Gin noticed it, "Change of plans; protect David and his family!"

As soon as he said that, the force field broke, which affected Grandmaster Aeleth, "Agh!" she said painfully. The dome had  a big enough crack and the shadows immediately charged inside the dome, straight towards David.

Meanwhile at Saint Hope,  Saint Hope, Eleanor crashed to the ground, pain shooting through her limbs, but she grit her teeth and forced herself to stand. The devastation surrounding her was overwhelming—buildings lay in ruins, the once peaceful town reduced to chaos by the relentless tornadoes. Amidst it all, Lucy stood at the center, the source of the destruction, her power ripping through everything in its path.

Enough was enough.

Eleanor's eyes turned pitch black, the darkness of the black dragon surging within her. Gripping her sword with fierce determination, she sprinted into the violent winds, her speed unnatural, almost godlike. The tornado's force couldn't stop her. With one swift, powerful strike, Eleanor sliced through Lucy's body, cleaving her in half. The tornadoes ceased instantly, the roaring winds dying with an eerie silence.

"You should've stopped when I told you to," Eleanor muttered, her voice heavy with regret as she stared down at Lucy's lifeless form. But as she looked closer, something was wrong—Lucy's body seemed... off, almost unreal.

A sinister giggle echoed in the air. "Hehe, suffer, Eleanor Fotheeth," Lucy's voice taunted, her body vanishing into thin air, leaving only a hollow emptiness in its place.

Eleanor's heart sank. It had been an illusion. The real Lucy was still out there.
