Wonder Woman: The Battle For Truth (Part 6)

Betrayal and commitment

With the battle over a wounded Diana takes a deep breath and closes her eyes. She looks up in the sky as rain falls on her face. She then screams 

Diana "POISON, COME OUT HERE, YOU COWARD!"

Diana then takes a deep breath again and is greeted by Becca who she hugs

Diana "Oh angel I'm so glad you are okay"

Becca "As am I"

Diana then hugs her mother and Artemis but is sad to see many Amazons dead

Diana "So much death..."

Hippolyta bows her head down "We need to evacuate fast, take what you can. If Poison or Cale are not here, it means the war is not done. We must regroup and heal our wounded. We must return to Themyscira, Becca you come with us too. A lot of our sisters need essential aid as do the people here. Steve, gather each leader and tell them what I told you. This battlefield is not safe"

Steve "But the bodies..."

Hippolyta "I am truly sorry but we need to move fast. Take who you can but it is imperative we must get the wounded to safety. These brave souls will return to Earth and will be in her care but now we must focus on preventing more deaths"

Steve "Understood"

The armies evacuate and after an hour with Carol saying goodbye to her niece. Poison and Cale arrive

Cale "We had an advantage, we had control of the greatest army in history, we had all fighting Amazons ready to be slaughtered. Yet you failed Poison. You failed again! You put your intellect on a pedestal yet get outsmarted or outmatched by our enemies. They evacuated before we can make our next move. If we can even make that move now"

Poison "Once again you shift the blame on me yet we are closer to defeating Wonder Woman than ever before. The next move is currently being cooked"

Cale "Count me out of it, I have lost more pursuing this goal than I have gained from it. We are done Poison. I am using the last few resources we have left to escape for good, you deal with Wonder Woman yourself"

Poison then hesitates "Cale..."

Cale turns around and before she can react a bullet hits her head. Poison holsters her gun and some employees come by

Poison "You guys are the only few left, do not disappoint me. Did you gather all the alive bodies before the opposition evacuated?"

Employee "Yes, we found 3 alive and wounded. 2 of them humans, 1 Amazon"

Poison "Kill the humans and bring the Amazon with me"

They do that and they travel to the base. The Amazon is suspended in a small chamber and wakes up

Amazon "My queen...my princess..."

Poison "They abandoned you"

The Amazon does a slight chuckle "No, they did what was right and I take heart in knowing they're safe and my sisters get the treatment they need. Killing me will not forge any insult to the queen I love"

Poison then slaps the Amazon

Amazon "You are weak, you are a coward and once my princess gets a hold of you, true justice will initiate"

Poison "You are going to tell me the location of your home"

Amazon "You are delusional"

Poison then sends a shock into the Amazon's brain but she resists

Amazon "You cannot get this information out of me, you tried to do this on my princess yet you failed"

Poison "Resist all you want, this device is a vast improvement over the last model, designed by Paula von Gunter herself"

The Amazon tries to resist but eventually she faints. Poison then feels a shock in her head and is helped up 

Poison "I got the location...I know where her home is! Now to see it in flames and eradicated!"
