Akito had been laying on his bed like he would any other saturday, mindlessly scrolling through the mass of his social media apps. What more was there to do? Practice... yes, but everyone needs a break on occasion.
Akito's perfect break looked like a chilled out saturday, blasting music as he lay in his bed, doing a whole lot of nothing.
On these days, he liked to wear a very specific outfit- a jacket of Toya's, given to him when he was running so late, he forgot to bring a jacket... in the dead of winter.

He'd tried to return it, but Toya refused, asking him to instead keep it and leave it by his door, making sure he never forgot one again.

...as well as he pair of biker (???) shorts, being much shorter than what would be considered appropriate.

(How did he come like these? Where did he even find them? Long story. Ads are misleading, and Ena is easy to irritate, something he took full advantage of.)

This was a saturday just like any other for Toya as well. Mostly. Akito hadn't been at practice, which was.. rather worrying, but he had sent a text to notify them. So.. he wasn't dead? That was good. He would have just asked Akito by text, but he would've just brushed it off, telling him everything was fine when he very well could have been in the hospital or something. He didn't like to tell anyone when something was wrong, which he learned the hard way, many times. Which... was why he was standing at his door now. He'd just rung the doorbell and was waiting for the other boy to answer the door. Though, that was not who showed.
"Hi?" Ena greeted. She then let out a sigh of relief, realizing it was someone she knew. "Ah, hey. He's upstairs. You know where his room is." He nodded with a smile. She opened the door further, letting Toya in.

"What's in that bag?" She turned around, leaning against the door to close it.
Toya made an "o" shape with his mouth, acknowledging his bag once more. He'd completely forgotten about it. "Akito didn't come to practice today, so I was a bit worried. I think we both know that he won't let anybody know if something is wrong, so I didn't even ask. There's warm soup if he's sick and a small cheesecake if he's alright and just didn't want to come. Figured he'd appreciate something, considering I didn't even let him know I was coming." He finished with a nervous smile, rubbing at the back of his neck.
"So.. surprise attack?" She asked with a smile.
He nodded.
"Fair. Well," She sighed, walking past him and to the stairs, walking up them as she spoke, "I won't keep you."

He stood there for a moment after he nodded, trying to psych himself up to go do this. It wouldn't have been a big deal had he told him... but he didn't. He didn't want Akito to be angry at him.
In the end, he decided that his anger would probably just melt away whenever he revealed he had cheesecake.
He walked up the stairs, then knocked on his door.
Nothing.
He knocked again, harder.
Nothing, again.
With a sigh, he opened his bedroom door, walking in and immediately spotting him, sprawled out in his bed in some rather cheeky shorts and.. his jacket? He'd have to ask about that. ...Later. He closed the door quietly, then looked at him for a few moments more.
Ah.
A cord. He was wearing earbuds.
He let out a huff as he smiled, setting his bag down and walking over.

With a smirk, he let his left finger drag gently over Akito's upper left thigh, then plopped down on his bed to the right of him.
Akito tensed up, head snapping to the left, then  feeling weight to his right, head snapping back the other direction as he ripped his earbuds out.

He recognized Toya and let out a deep and exasperated sigh, burying his head into the pillows momentarily.
"Cheeky, are we?"
He raised his head and rolled his eyes, looking back at Toya. "You have got to quit doing that." He sighed out.
Toya snicked softly, rolling onto his side. "You don't actually mind though, do you?"
"Shut up," he scoffed.
Toya's question had been a genuine one, and though that might not have been the manner in which he'd wanted to receive his answer, he got it nonetheless.
