"Intellectual, murda people edition"

The same day, 12:00pm
Azriel's P.O.V:

If somebody did eva tell me seh there would be a day weh mi siddung an medz di different ways fi murda mi baby mada an har man, mi would a seh dem a liad.

Though she had her messed up ways, I trusted the woman for the sole fact that she was my son's mother.

Big bomboclawt mistake.

"Yow. Wah gwan?" My brother asked through my device.

"Mi aguh want yuh run a background check pon Nicky man." I stated.

Should a do dat from yuh find out seh she ave a man gee.

Another big bomboclawt mistake on my end.

"A wah gwan?" He asked, his tone a one of concern.

"Juss sort out e ting fi mi." I said then I hung up.

I sped down the highway while occasionally glancing in my rear view mirror to check on Kashane.

He was curled into a fetal position with his seatbelt strapped around his waist and a pillow we always kept in the car against his back.

Was he asleep? No.

Was he talking? Also no.

I returned my attention towards the road and hastily made my way to my mother's house.

Anita Jackson was not a woman of few words.

Di lady can cuss an ask question like if she nuh get all di answers she aguh dead.

So imagine how she text dung mi phone when mi tell har mi a come drop off Kash fi two days.

"Wah gwan mi gran gran?" Mommy shouted as Kashane jumped out of the vehicle.

Kashane sprinted towards his grandmother and engulfed her into a big hug.

When she stooped down and wrapped her arms around him he hissed and hurriedly pulled away.

"Mummy mine him back." I said while taking out a duffle bag with Kashane's clothes.

"A wapm to him back?" She asked but I stepped around her and went inside.

I took off my shoes at the door then walked through he living room and into my old bedroom.

I put the duffle bag on the top bunk of the bunk bed and went to exit the room.

Immediately, my mother and Kashane blocked my path.

"Yuh neva hear mi a talk to yuh? Mi seh a wapm to him back." My mother pressed.

I hissed my teeth.

"Not because yah big man now enuh Azriel. Mi will still jump up an knock out yuh teeth dem yer." She threatened.

I smiled a little.

I missed my mother.

"Ansa mi question man."
