I woke up in a peculiar place. It was dark, yet light. It was like a "middle" place. I look at my surroundings, and my initial thought was right. There it was, the gate to heaven, and the dungeons to hell.

God and The Devil appeared in front of me, and held out their hands. Something I just knew, I knew they were asking me to pick a side.
"M-my b-bakas... I know you want me to lead a throne, b-but... I can't." I said strongly. The looks on their faces were disappointed but they nodded and understood my decision.
"P-plus.. You never gave me an explanation to my questions." I said.
"Look Y/N, we are your real parents, your biological parents that is! And the reason for your tail, is that we felt it would be easier to be raised by a relatively normal family, so... We gave you some of the genes from your 'parents' and left it at that. Now that you are 18, we thought you had the right to know the truth about who you REALLY are." God spoke calmly.
After listening to that whole speech, I was in utter shock! "O-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-oh my r-really!?" I said excitedly.
Surprisingly, I wasn't mad. They gave me a chance at a real normal life! Not raised with the expectations of being an angel or devil or angel?! I ran up to them both, and hugged them.
"Thank you...B-b-bakas!" I cried into their arms. They cried right back and squeezed me into a tighter hug.
"Now... Y/N, we'll always be here with you. Just so you know, you'll always have the protection of one of my demons." The devil spoke to me.
"And one of my Angels," Said God.
"Hey, thank you! But, do you have names I can refer to you guys buy? Or...?"
"Dad or Mom is just fine for me, as for a human name... Lucifer" Said the Devil
"Mom or Dad for me too, and as a human name...Lux." Said God
I smiled, and nodded. "Well, alright then Mom Lux and Dad Lucifer. I'll be off then!" I closed my eyes, and released my wings.
I lifted off and made my way back down to my hometown. For some reason, I just knew how to do what I did! It was like muscle memory!
I landed in front of my house, to which it was pitch dark outside. When I got inside showing off my wings, tail, horns and halo, my brothers looked at me in shock but then it was like they forgot.
I concealed my true self and went up to my older brother Doc.
"Hey Doc, what do you think of my new appearance?!" I said happily.
"Y/N, whatever do you mean?" He asked.
Shocked, I replied with "Y-y'know, my h-horn, t-t-t-t-tails, and w-w-wings??" I said.

He looked at me questionably and then walked off. "I have no idea what you're talking about Y/N! I've gotta go and do some lung surgery on Sneezy! See you later." He said his voice fading out.

I run my long fingers through my long silky blonde curly straight hair that reached the length of my lower waist. I twirl my braided hair in my fingers and sob slightly. "A-a-a-a-a-a-am I invisible???" I thought to myself as I curled myself into a little ball like a tiny bunny.
Golden aquamarine tear drops rolled down my crimson pastel red cheek.
