Definition: The Commune is the beating heart of Arixona, providing goods for each of the Precincts, like blood to the organs, in return for the produce of their industries. Those who reside in The Commune all live ostentatious lives free from danger, unlike anyone in the Precincts. The Commune is also home to The Bureaucrat, the training centre for the Martyrs and at the heart of it, is the Labyrinth where the yearly competition, The Parables, occurs.
