okay, so hello to the few people who still are waiting on this book!! i love you all very very much and thanks for staying. i am so sorry it's taking me so long to update. i had big plans for this book, but i went through a long long period of writer's block. then, to make matters worse, they cancelled shadow & bone which had me absolutely fuming tbh.

now, because of all of this, i've been struggling think which way to take the book because i was planning on way more seasons tbh and wasn't expecting them to cancel the show. when i first started this book, i was going off solely on what the tv show gave us and my deep dive into kaz brekker because i had never read six of crows before. now, i've read like three times over lmao.

so let's get one thing straight: celestine isn't going anywhere! she is my absolute baby and i put so much time into her background and all my grisha concepts to just let this collect dust and never be seen again.

so, the plan!!! i've had a newer version of the crow and the sparrow in my drafts for a while now, and essentially it's just based off of the books rather than the show. this allows me to know where i'm gonna take celestine throughout the books and pre-plan everything so hopefully, it's smooth sailing.

there are slight changes, the main ones being that a) their are two new characters who were supposed to be introduced later on into the crow and the sparrow but i obviously never got round to doing so, and b) roman is younger by a few years, but then again so is everyone lmao.

the revamp is called can't catch me now and i love it very much, and i hope all of you who've stayed will love it as much as i do— keep an eye out on it, it will be out very soon, as i've almost finished the first chapter!!

the main message: celestine is not being abandoned and she's coming back and her and kaz are gonna be better than ever!!!!!!!

i love these two and all their friends with my whole heart and can't wait to share what i have in store 🫶🏼

once again, i'm sorry for everyone who wants me to continue this story, i really tried but i lost all motivation once i found out they cancelled shadow & bone and was very lost as to where to take the story next.

the crow and sparrow is officially discontinued, but celestine will be back in can't catch me now, which will, fingers crossed, be up and running within a month of so. hopefully i make up for it with can't catch me now and the long chapters that are in store for you all!!!

anyway, i hope this is a nice surprise!!
