Riki then decided to sit right beside the bus stop near their school waiting for Hiko.

Ringg ringg

Suddenly he received a phone call from a very familiar number.

" Riki help me !! "

"Maiko... "

The call suddenly hung up by itself leaving Riki sitting there confused.

Once he fully gains his concerns , he anxiously puts his backpack on his back, grabs his glove , helmet and immediately rushes to his bike that park not far from the bus stop.

" goshh this girl really made me worry"

Riki muttered inside his mind .

He speeds up his ride and breaks the traffic light just to get faster to Maiko's house. Once he arrives there, he makes sure to park his bike 10 meters away as always and decides to walk straight to her house .

He is now standing in front of Maiko's mansion. He is doubting to ring the bell outside the gate or maybe sneaking in is also the best option? He held his hands up towards the bell to ring but suddenly someone grabbed his hand from the back.

"Meeko you startled me!!" Riki shouted a bit loud leading Maiko to cover his mouth and drag him away from her house area.

"So.. how's your life going? decided to ghost me and suddenly called me asking for help like nothing had happened between us?" He asked while leaning on his bike for support.

"I'm so sorry for making you feel that way, I'm definitely not blaming you that we lost during the competition, it just so many things has happened in this week , and I can't process it". Maiko voice saddened as she stepped a few step back.

"Look I don't know what has happened to you and i would love to get to know, if you're willing to open about it, but if you don't, it's okay i would understand it too, the most important thing now is what's happening now? what makes you call me just now ?". Riki added, his hands now are holding Maiko's hands showing a little affection that he actually cares about the girl being .

"First of all let's get away from here, and i will explain everything to you" Maiko said.

Riki then decided to take her to his place since they got nowhere to go. Plus there's nobody at his house so this would not causing much problems.

"so what happened? , are you okay?

Riki asked as he handed Maiko a glass of water considering that she's probably still anxious from the previous situation.

She took a sip of the water and let out a heavy sigh.

" i just got out of the hospital, that's why i didn't attend class for the last few days ".

Maiko stated as she put the glass on the table nearby.

" WHATT ??! WHAT WAS THE REASON ?!! did your dad hurt you? AGAIN ?!!

Riki shouted and he immediately went to check out around her hands if there's any wound or scar .

"chill , the story just begun, this is not a movie you don't have to overreact "

" I'm furious just to let you know Ms Meeko !! your that is almost the worst human being that I've ever encountered "

Riki added while calming himself down and get back at his seat.

" almost?.. then who's the worst ? " Maiko asked.

" oh we don't want to talk about my mum's sperm donor don't we? shall we continue your story? ".

Riki jokingly said.

" did you just mention your dad?...

" well if that what you address it then yeah , but he doesn't deserve thay title so.. "

" anyway what happened next ? why did you call me out of sudden , i thought you already deleted my number since we got none business to catch up ? "

Riki shut the previous topic and changed to the original one because he was eager to know what was happening to Maiko and not to mention that suddenly he's also in the middle of the crisis.

" i think both of my parents hide something from me "

Maiko added continuing the previous story.

" like what? food? didn't they always do that because they don't want you to become overweight?"

" Riki !! that's not " Maiko yelled

" i think it is something that big but i can't figure anything right now, and the reason i called you is because my parents was shouting and fighting with each other at that moment ,

and i was too overwhelming by the situation because they always play a perfect role.. not really but my mum is , but after i got discharged from hospital and get back home my mum suddenly act differently... I've never seen this side of her , so rebel and always projecting over my dad as long as i know her she's always so elegant and sophisticated not to mention she'd never say no to my dad order but she has changed ".

Maiko said .Riki noticed that her tone was saddened, she's sad probably clueless and has no clue what is happening in her perfect family house.

" how about we try to figure it out? "

Riki point out the idea trying to discover the truth behind the whole situation.

" but how ? " Maiko reply shortly.

" well it might be a little bit risky and dangerous but I promise you it will be worth it !! "

Riki added trying to convince Maiko about the plan.

" what should we do then? "

" you can count on me , firstly , plan A i will ... "
