"I trust again to you, Ser Criston, and to your loyalty. Aegon must be found, and he must be brought to me. The very fate of the Seven Kingdoms depends on it. Everything you feel for me... as your Queen." ~ Queen Alicent Hightower

AUTUMN KISS 💋🍁 is an explicit tale of erotic theme, a storytelling advantage between two adults committing sin in the Red Keep.

Naturally, when Viserys died, Alicent felt a sense of freedom. She could finally be the young, rebellious girl that she was always jealous of Rhaenyra for being. Alicent knew Criston had no quarrels with breaking his oath, so she turned to him to explore her sexuality.

With the war brewing, Queen Alicent felt she had no one to turn to in time of crisis. No one, except her sworn protector and secret lover. She desperately wants Aegon to be king, and Ser Criston fully supports the claim, resenting Rheanyra for her deceitful nature.

The Greens are so messed up. They are not perfect, they are not disinfected and favored by the narrative, and they are raw to the bone; they are real.

Aegon is as real as a devastated and soul-crushed father gets whose grief translates to anger and violence. Helaena's silent inner turmoil and anguish haunt the Red Keep. Alicent has become a wreck as she weighs this tragedy the only way she knows how: against her own failed moral compass, holding herself responsible.

Ser Criston and Queen Alicent relationship is far more complex, and interestingly dirty in romance and sex. In a world as ruthless as Westeros, finding solace in unexpected places is both rare and precious. Despite the controversy surrounding the succession, it's undeniable that their bond makes sense, given their histories and emotional journeys.

The King's Guard and the Queen, have entangled themselves in a way that has often doomed other duos because personal relationships have a tendency to undermine duty and rational thinking.

Otto sees his strings of power stretch and snap as he pursues the unattainable dream once more. Criston feels unworthy and consoles himself with the deception that he remains unsullied by still bearing a white cloak to his name, having been absolved of his original oath-breaking years before. And Aemond refuses to acknowledge any weakness or softness in front of his family so he seeks consolation elsewhere.

This green family doesn't know how to process emotions, doesn't know how to grieve together, and can't find solace in each other's suffering despite yearning for comfort. Otto doesn't know how to comfort Alicent, Alicent doesn't know how to comfort Aegon, and Aegon doesn't know how to comfort Helaena.

Larys exerts his influence and puppeteers Alicent to his own liking by giving her a much-desired grasp of agency over political affairs. Alicent finds escape in undiscovered indulgences that give her the intoxicating illusion of control over a lifetime of servitude. Criston succumbs to the addictive drug of being desired and wanted on equal terms. The Greens live in a vicious circle of unhealed trauma, a bottomless pit of fears and insecurities, and a tangled web of deception and control.

They are wounded, dysfunctional, and forsaken, and that makes them so intriguing.

Alicent sees all this and decides to rectify her decision, instead of ursurping the throne, the Green Queen suddenly changes her mind and chooses her self first, instead of being a slave to men, she wants a second chance to live her life freely without being Otto Hightower's pawn, and to take such drastic step, her lover is ready to do her bidden, so far as she's willing to leave everything behind and start afresh with him.

Nonetheless Alicent Hightower is sent back in time from her death to the end of Rhaenyra's short and ill-fated war. Armed with the knowledge of what is to come should she force her children to fulfill her ambitions, Alicent seeks to avert her fate by rebuilding and maintaining her friendship with Rhaenyra and raising her children to be better people.

However, the more changes she makes, the more the world she once lived in becomes unrecognizable to her. Can she truly forge a better fate for her family, or are they all doomed anyway?

Not to mention Ser Criston who finds himself on a thin line of ice, he's in love with the Queen, but is uncertain if Alicent will be willing to accept his heart or will reject him, like Rheanyra did twenty years ago. Either way each character's ideas of marital unions and love are vastly different from each other, giving rise to insightful and memorable impact, thereby causing a division of civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons.
