"I can't believe you're already 37, that's basically the new 40" Eleanor chuckle as Kate playfully role her eyes.

"alright Ellie calm down, your only 2 years younger than her" Eleanor's husbands voice can be heard from the kitchen.

"no one asked for you to pipe in Alexander!" Eleanor says annoyed with a gentle smile on her lips as Kate snorts" 

"well thank you vert much Ellie, its unbelievable really, your bother in-law have taught PG and Lottie to congratulate me on having turned 40" Ellie bursts into laughter as she says Kate sending killer eyes at her husband.

William shrugs his shoulder, "well you are almost anyways" Kate rolls her eyes in annoyance, "your only half a year younger than me William Arthur Philip Louis" 

Eleanor smiles at their bickering and looks into the kitchen where she sees Alexander baking Kate's birthday cake with the help of Adelaide, James, George, Victoria and Charlotte. Eleanor looks back to Kate and William and see them sharing a kiss.

"get a room" Eleanor groans, making William and Kate let out a giggle. "and why did Harry and Meghan not come anyways, weren't they invited? Eleanor ask in confusion.

"no we did invite them, but Harry said that Meghan was feeling to bad, with the pregnancy you know? even though they were spotted earlier today out with their friends." William says as he looks to his sister-in-law. 

with that being said makes Eleanor's blood boil slightly, "that is so rude,  it's one thing to say they don't want to come, but them saying Meghan is sick and then going out anyways is just disrespectful" Kate nods in agreement at Eleanor's words and opens her mouth to respond but then hear George running into the living room.

"MUMMY" George says running over to Kate as quickly as his little legs let him. Kate looks confused, "hey Georgie, what's with the running" 

"Uncle Alex set the cake on fire!" Eleanor quickly stands up and makes a slight run to the kitchen where she sees Alexander hitting the burning Cake with a towel. 

"Alex what the hell? how did that even happen?" Eleanor says in slight shock and concern as Alex finally makes the fire go away.

"I swear I don't know, it just..happened?, Addie was the one to notice", came the confused voice of Alexander. the couple just stare at each other for a few seconds before the both of them burst out laughing. 

"Alexander i swear to god, it's always you" Ellie says making both of them laugh even more. "where even are the children?"

"they ran to Charlotte's room the moment they noticed the fire" Alex says in a funny tone making Ellie roll her eyes. "your banned from the kitchen for 1 week" Alex gives her a cheeky smile and wraps his arms around her. "whatever you say my love" they 2 royals share a loving kiss, before hearing many ewwws coming from behind them.

"Daddy no kissing mommy! only I can kiss mommy" little James says running over to them and wraps his arms around his mother. Eleanor smiles and leans down to kiss her oldest son's head. 

Alexander groans "always such a mommy's boy" Victoria comes running up to him and reach for him to pick her up. "well a least I have you my little Vicky" Alexander smiles as he kiss her head making Victoria squeal in delight. 

"ill order a Cake since you my dear brother just simply can't bake" William says loudly as he is trying to stop himself from bursting out laughing. 

"yeah yeah whatever, but I am sorry though Kate" Alex says in a cheeky tone making Kate laugh even more. "we all saw it coming" Eleanor laughs even more at Kate's words and nod her head in agreement.
