Hope's P.O.V
Two years. Two years since Louis Tomlinson, broke my heart. Two years since I stopped talking to Louis, and everybody around him.
At first it was hard because they all wouldn't stop calling or texting me, but eventually it stopped.
I am now officially part of the Doncaster Rovers team. Emmy and I both are. We've gotten really close, since everything's happened and I still lived with her.
We actually had a game, today so I was waiting for Emmy before we went.
"Emmy come on, we're gonna be late!" I yelled for her. She came running down the stairs, "I'm coming, I'm coming." We went out to my car, and drove the short distance to the field we were playing at. We went to the locker room, and got changed.
We then waited for someone to come get us. That's how they did it here. Once everyone was here to watch the game, we walked onto the field together and did our warm ups.
Our coach walked in,"are you guys ready?!" She yelled. We all started cheering, then started doing our traditional cheer.
"I believe that we will win! I believe that we will win! I believe that we will win!"
"Okay girls, let's go win this game!" Our coach cheered. I loved our coach she always cheered us on, and got us pumped up for a game. Our team was young, but we were good and we all got along.
We started walking out of the locker room, until we reached the field were we ran out together as a team. Everyone started cheering for us, while we started doing our drills.
When we got done we went to the bench to have a break, until the game started. That's when I looked up to the bleachers and made eye contact with him. The guy that broke my heart. I just stood there while he stared deeply into my eyes. All the memories came back to me, how we went on dates together. Falling in love with him, and to tell you the truth it took everything in me not to go up there and start kissing him. I was so stupid he cheated on me, and here I was wanting to go kiss him.
Emmy nudged me,"you ok?" She asked me, I nodded my head and looked at the ground. I looked back up at him, and noticed Liam was with him. I went and sat on the bench, while coach went over plays for the field.
We went on the field and started the game. When I first started playing here, our Coach put me in the goalie box. We discovered that I'm actually really good at it which surprised me. I was in the goalie box, when I took a quick glance at Louis to find him staring at me. I shook my head and told myself to focus. The other team had the ball near the goal, so I was standing on my toes ready to block anything that came my way. They kicked the ball up towards the left corner of the goal, I dove and caught the ball then rolled on the ground. I got the ball and kicked it towards Katie, a girl on our team. She dribbled it down the field passing it to Emmy who made a goal. The game kept going on like this and it was 4-0 by halftime. We ran to our locker room and went over plays that coach wanted us to run.
"Okay girls keep it up you're doing great." We went back to the field and we had three minutes left. We sat on the bench and waited for three minutes. I looked up at Louis seat to see it empty, and Liam wasn't there either. I started looking around to see if they were anywhere near us. I then looked down by my goal, and saw them sitting on the old bleachers were no one sat anymore. They were so close that if they whispered I could pretty much hear them. I started getting nervous, knowing I would have to be near Louis and Liam. The timer went off and we jogged back to our spots. I jogged to the goal with my head down, I could feel them staring at me but I didn't make eye contact. I got ready and the other team started dribbling the ball down the field. When the girl got near me, she took the shot and I dove and caught it.
