Hope's P.O.V
I was leaving the store, when my phone started ringing.
"Hello?" I said while answering the phone.
"Hello is this Hope?" A guys voice asked on my phone.
"Yes may I help you?"
"Hi Hope this is Dr. Spring I'm calling to let you know that we've gotten your results back, and we would love it if you could come in as soon as possible."
"Is right now okay?"I asked him.
"Yea, sounds good. I'll see you in a few." He said before hanging up. I drove straight to the doctors office, anxious and scared to see what the results had said.
When I pulled up to the doctors, I speed walked up to the door. When I walked in the lady behind the counter gave me a warm smile.
"How may I help you?"
"Hi I'm here to see Dr. Spring."
"Hope?" The lady asked. I nodded my head and she told me to wait in the seats, while she went to get him. I sat in the seat while my leg started bouncing up and down.
"Hope?" I turned my head to see the Dr and got out of my seat following him to the room. He led me in and I sat down.
"Well Hope we got the results back, and they came back positive. I'm sorry to tell you this but you are infertile." After he said those words I felt tears starting to collect in my eyes. I looked down and quickly blinked them away.
"Now there are still some ways to have kids, but they are quite expensive. Do you have any questions?" He asked. I shook my head no, and he handed me a card.
"If you have any questions feel free to call me anytime." He said. I stood up and thanked him before walking out to my car. I sat down in my car and let the tears roll down my face. I would never be able to have my own children. I thought of Louis and started crying harder. What would he do if he found out. I don't know what I would do if he ever left me.
I started my car up and made my way home. I wiped my eyes on the way home, trying to make it look like I hadn't been crying. I forgot my makeup, so I knew I looked like a mess. When I pulled in the driveway the boys were outside sitting on the porch talking to each other. I sighed and made sure I kept my head down when getting out of the car, and grabbing my groceries.
"Hey babe!" Louis yelled.
"Hey Hope!" The boys yelled.
I lifted my hand up waving at them and walking in before I was questioned. I started putting away the groceries, when I heard the door open and shut.
"Hey Hope, Louis wants to know if you've seen his phone anywhere." I turned around to see Niall behind me with a smile. His smiled dropped when he saw my face. I could only imagine what I looked like right now.
"Hey, are you okay?" He asked in a soft voice. When he said that my chin started quivering, and tears rolled down my face. Niall quickly wrapped his arms around me and rubbed my back. I started crying, in big hiccups while he rubbed my back. I heard the door open, and a voice started talking.
"Niall what's taking you so long?!" Liam yelled. From the corner of my eye I saw Liam standing in the doorway, with wide eyes.
"Go get Louis." Niall said and Liam disappeared. Seconds later Louis came running in the room, and looked at me with worried eyes. Niall let go of me and left giving me and Louis some privacy.
Louis walked up to me and gave me a warm hug. I felt safe in his arms, and that only broke my heart even more. Thinking Louis could leave me over this made me broken. When Louis leaned away from me he wiped my tears off my face with his thumbs.
"The doctor called me." I whispered. Louis looked at me curiously.
"He told me I was infertile." I whispered as more tears rolled down my face.
Louis wrapped his arms around me, and I breathed in his scent trying to calm down.
"I'm sorry Lou." I said. He looked at me with a confused face.
"Babe, you have nothing to be sorry about. This isn't your fault."
"But you can't have kids with me. Don't act like you didn't want to have kids, every time you see a kid your eyes light up. Now you can't have that."
"We could always adopt." He whispered.
"I promise you everything will work out, don't be upset. One way or another, I promise you we will have kids at one point." Louis said. He gave my lips a light peck, making me give him a sad smile.
"And don't think I would ever leave you. Especially over something like that. I love you and nothing will ever change that." He said looking into my eyes.
"I love you to. Thank you for always being here for me." I said kissing his cheek. He smiled and laced our hands together.
"Do you wanna go hang out with the boys in the front?" He asked me.
"Sure," I said. He grabbed my hand and led me to the front yard.
