Hope's P.O.V
Today Louis and I were going over to his mom's house, to announce we were engaged. I was now waiting for Louis to get ready.
I was kind if nervous to tell Louis family. Dan already knew, so just his mom and his sisters would be surprised.
"You ready babe?" Lou asked me as he was wrapping his arms around my waist, and kissed my cheek.
"Yea." I said. He grabbed my hand and we walked out to his car. We sat in silence on the way there. I was tapping my foot, and hand nervous.
"You okay?" Louis asked me, looking from me onto the rode back and forth.
"Yea I'm fine, I'm just nervous." I replied. Louis grabbed my hand and ran his thumb over my hand.
"Relax, my mom and sisters love you already." Lou said. I smiled and we then pulled up to Lou's mom's house. We got out of the car and Johanna opened the door holding Ernest. I smiled and Louis put his hand on my back leading me up to the door.
"Hope! I missed you so much!" She said pulling me in for a hug, and kissing my cheek.
"I've missed you to!" I said. Lou's brother reached put for me, and Johanna gave him to me. Lou smiled at me while giving his mom a hug. We walked in and Dan stood up.
"Hi Hope, nice to see you again." He said giving me a side hug.
"Nice to see you too." I said with a smile. Louis sisters came out and gave me a hug. I just loved Louis family more then anything, they were like my family.
We all went to the kitchen, and sat down to eat. I gave Dan Ernie, and sat down next to Louis. All the food was in the middle of the table so we all started digging in.
Louis had finished eating and I had also. Louis gave me a questioning look, and I nodded.
"Hope and I want to share something with you guys." Louis said. Everybody looked at me and Louis, and Dan smiled.
"We're engaged!" Louis just straight out said. Everyone started cheering, and Johanna stood up with tears in her eyes. She walked over to me and pulled me and Louis into a hug.
"I'm so happy for you to!" She said pulling away. She wiped her eyes, and smiled at us. Lottie came over to us and gave both of us a hug, congratulating us. We started cleaning up after the announcement, putting our dishes in the sink.
Louis went to the restroom and Ernie started crying. Johanna sighed, and stopped doing the dishes going to get him out of his high chair.
I stopped her,"I can take him to bed." I said.
"Oh thank you dear!" She said. I smiled at her and picked him up taking him to his room. I was holding him, rocking him back and forth while standing by his bed. His eyes started to slowly get droopy, so I continued rocking him.
"Hope?" I looked up and saw Lottie standing in the doorway. I smiled and gestured her in the room.
"What's up?" I asked her.
"Well this boy in my grade asked me on a date, and his names Derek. He's a really good guy, but Mom said our date had to be supervised. So I was wondering if you and Louis can go with us. Having my Mom watch us would be weird, and you could keep Louis under control. So could you please talk Louis into it?" She asked.
"Of course! When is this date?" I asked her.
"Next week on Saturday." She said.
"Ok yea, I'm sure we could I don't see why we couldn't." I told her.
"Oh, thank you so much!" She said giving me a side hug.
"So what's his name again?" Lottie and I looked up to see Louis leaning against the wall, with an evil smirk on his face.
"Oh my god." Lottie sighed walking out of the room.
"Leave her alone!" I told Louis with a smile. He smiled and walked over to me. Louis went behind me, and looked down at Ernie who was now asleep in my arms.
"You're going to be such a good mom someday." Louis whispered into my ear. I looked at him and smiled. He leaned forward and pressed his lips onto mine into a slow, passionate, loving kiss. I removed my lips from Louis and laid down Ernie since my arms were starting to get sore.
I turned around and Louis wrapped his arms around my waist. I laid my head on his shoulder and sighed in content.
"I love you Lou." I whispered into his shoulder.
"I love you to." He said kissing the spot below my ear.
"Are you ready to go?" He asked me.
"Sure," I said. He led me out to the living room.
"We're gonna get going." Louis said to his family. They got up and congratulated us again while saying bye.
We walked out to the car and went home.
