At the lookout

"RYDER" said Katie "ya" said Ryder "I have an emergency at work so it's your job to take the girls to school today" said Katie putting her hair up "Ok what's the emergency" said Ryder. Katie walks up to Ryder and whispers in his ear "Chase's sister got shot at and I need to get the bullet out" Katie said whispering "oh ok" said Ryder "and also I have a hair appointment" said Katie as she was walking out the door. It was an hour later and Cora and Claire were awake and Ryder was driving them to school and he pulled up and dropped them off "have fun girls" said Ryder as he drove off

At the pet parlor

Katie got out of her car and jogged into the pet parlor "ok what happened Bryan" asked Katie getting her surgery stuff on "well we were taking on armed robbers and the guy shot at me and Cassandra took that shot" said Bryan "ok I don't know how long the surgery is going to be" said Katie "ok" said officer Bryan in a nervous tone "I will get the bullet and she be back at work in no time" said Katie "thank you Katie" said officer Bryan as Katie was walking into the surgery room "ok Casey do see where the bullet hole is" asked Katie "it's in her shoulder but I don't see another hole" said Casey.it was a two hour surgery and Katie walked out of the surgery room "how is she" said Officer Bryan "the surgery was successful but she needs physical therapy for 8 weeks to have that shoulder moving again I will my friend Gia who is a physical therapist in Adventure City" said Katie "ok how long the gets back to work" asked Officer Bryan "after physical therapy I will wait another week before going back to work" said Katie "alright thank you" said officer Bryan "yup you can go get her and take her home she is awake" said Katie "aright thank you" said officer Bryan. After Officer Bryan left with Cassandra "so what time is your hair appointment" asked Christy "1:30" said Katie as she walked over and threw her gloves away.Then Ryder and the big pups come running in "Hey what's up guys" said Katie "it's the girls" said Ryder "what happened I thought you dropped them off at school" said Katie "I did but their teachers said they never made it in to the school" said Ryder "This is bad" said Katie "it's only 9:00am they probably haven't gotten far" said Ryder "I'm coming to help you look for them" said Katie "what about your hair" said Ryder "who cares about my hair I want my girls safe" said Katie sternly
