"I stepped into my office, my stiletto heels clicked on the marble floor, commanding attention. The room fell silent with all eyes on me everyone wished me 'good morning, ma,am.' With a mix of fear and respect. My assistant approached me, bowing slightly, and said, 'Good morning, ma'am.' I just nod.
I entered my private office with my assistant who stood by the door, looking like she feared I might devour her. We reached my cabin and I took my seat. 'Ma'am you have a press conference today'.I nodded.
I'm in a pussy mood and idk whyy .........
"I'm in my office when a knock comes. 'Come in,' I say. My assistant, Rachel, enters and says, 'Ma'am, the press conference started 10 minutes ago. When will you be there?' I stand up and say, 'Lead the way.' Rachel nods and walks out of the cabin,with me following closely behind. We approach the elevators,
"Rachel suddenly stops. What now ma'am the elevator is broken I raise an eyebrow. There is now way all four of our elevators just happened to be broken.. All at once
"Don't tell me all four elevators are broken?" I ask, raising an eyebrow.
She shook her head. "No, ma'am. Only your personal one.
First of all, they're all mine - I own this place. Second, WE ALL HAVE OUR OWN PERSONAL ELEVATORS?
"Rachel, all the elevators are mine. Just take this one," I say, pressing the elevator
We enter another elevator, and I head to the press conference. I'm sitting at the table, trying not to look bored, when a reporter calls my name.
'Reporting live from Channel 5, I'm here with Adeline Gray, CEO of Gray Enterprises. Ms. Gray, there's been speculation about the recent incidents involving your company's security. Care to comment on the rumors of a stalker?' the reporter asks, a serious tone in his voice.
I pause for a moment, collecting my thoughts. 'I can confirm that we have had some... issues with an individual who has been making unwanted advances. But I assure you, our security team is taking all necessary measures to ensure my safety and the safety of our employees.'
The reporter presses on. 'But, Ms. Gray, sources close to the company say that this individual has been sending you threatening messages and gifts. How do you respond to that?'
I lean forward, my eyes locked on the reporter. 'I respond by saying that I will not be intimidated. I will not be bullied. And I will not be silenced. If this individual thinks they can scare me, they're sadly mistaken.'
As I finish speaking, I notice a figure standing at the back of the room, watching me with an unnerving intensity. My heart skips a beat as I realize that my stalker might be closer than I think
I locked eyes with the figure, a sly smile spreading across my face as I thought, 'Game on.
