Author's Note

As I stated before, this is book two of Keeper's Arena! If you have not read Keeper's Arena, this story will make very little sense. Why? I have revealed much of Jade's character, past, and trauma in the first book. This is also unlike other fan-fictions, and I do not write a play-by-play of episodes that already exist. My original plots are "sandwiched" in-between the episodes that already exist. Now, since this book takes place in season 3, it is going to be extremely challenging to maintain this strategy. I may have to alter some things or skip ahead. However, it helps to draw from the original plot that is present in book one. Jade didn't join the Bad Batch immediately, which directly correlates with the tension and and nervousness Jade wrestles with in this story. Again, please read Keeper's Arena first. You'll thank me later.

I want to acknowledge those who have followed along with Jade ever since I began writing Keeper's Arena. I didn't think I would be writing a second book. Here I am, writing it. Don't worry, I'll include it in this book so you don't have to bother with clicking my profile and locating Keeper's Arena, if you've already read Keeper's Arena. There is a key character and object coming from the epilogue that will serve as a "starting point" for chapter one in this book, and I would hate for you to be confused.
