Jose POV

As soon as David got up and high fived me, I knew that I was one step closer to helping Mike.

David looked like a complete horror. Extremely skinny, yellow teeth, scars everywhere, and his pants were sagging. It was honestly heartbreaking to see the damage that our schools clique system did to him.

He started explaining to me that his speech pattern had started to become very weird, going in a slow pace and taking time.

As soon as people started seeing us walk out, people just started flicking the bird at us. David slowly explained that they thought he was changing to an Athlete.

Normally, with actual normal cliques, you would explain what would happen and everything would be okay. But yhe outcasts simply dont see it that way. They see it as betrayal.

David convinced me that he truly wanted to change, but he said that it would take time. He hasnt had a full convo with his Dad in 2 years! He also said that he has been arrested before, but let out early.

The high five was like a fresh breath of air for him. Apperantly it was the first time someone actually gave a friendly gesture to him. High fives to me are normal, where as to him, theyre one of the rarest things.

I was beyond excited to get one of my brothers back, but I changed my focus to Kaylin. Shes probably trying to fifht off Yessenia right now. But I gotta find her.

Kaylin POV

I decide to wait 2 minutes for Jose and David to come out, but I eventually realize that it was going to take longer.

I decide to head back to Mrs. McMillans class. I want to see Mike, but as bad as this sounds, I really want to see Yesse and give her a piece of my mind.

I head on over there. I dont even bother to knock, but I honestly dont care.

"Can you just fucking leave! I dont want to deal with you again!" Screamed Yessenia

"Dude, gets off my nuts! I want to talk to Mike, not you!"

"He doesnt want to talk with you! (Points at Mike) look at him!"

"How do you know? I knew Mike first and I know him better! Quit being such an overprotective bitch and leave me alone!"

"Get out of my face! Why do you even care about Mike? Are you just trying to look good, or are you just doing this just because of Jose?

"I care about him! Ive always had! Im helping Jose out by helping him out! What got into you anyways? Your like an overweight mom that cares about a grown up child!"

"Nothin got into me. Ive always been like this! Mikes always been betrayed by people and nobody truely know his feelings, but me! And now your criticizing my weight? Very fucking original Lara. Want me to start making asian jokes? Or maybe jokes about that boyfriend of yours?"

At this point im boiling. Im about to slap the shit out of this cow until im interrupted.

The door opens, and immediatly Jose walks in, all confident like, without his jacket, and David immediatly follows through.

Immediatly, my heart drops and so does my jaw. I havent seen David in so long, and he looked terrible.

Jose whispers in Davids ear and David walks over to me.

"Hey Kaylin.... Im im im... Really sorry for changing (starts sniffing and sobbing), can you please forgive me?"

"Of course David"

I pull into hug him. David is one of my alltime best friends, and it genuinly looks like Jose changed him.

Then Jose high fived me in succees. He not that much of a huger.

David then walks up onto Yesse.

"Yessenia, I know that we just dont talk after our break up, but I know Mike better than anyone here (starts tearing up). I have to reedem myself. "

"Are you fucking kidding me!? Nice fucking job Jose, thinking that my ex is going to help convince me? Get the fuck out!"

"Yesse, Im not. I want to change myself. I still love you. I know why we broke up was kinda stupid, but but but, I care about you and Mike. Please. Just let me in.

"Mike, do you want to talk to David?"

"Sure, lets do that."

Yesse was surprised as Mike got up and walked towards David. Shit was about to get real. I walk towards Jose and tell him to tag along. We walk towards a bench.

Jose POV

We finally broke the barrier that was Mike against his feelings.

It was his time.

Im only 5/6 through my plan. But I might not need that extra 1\6.
