Jose POV

As soon as the bell rang, I immediatly headed towards the science class, waiting for Sam.

David stayed a couple feet behind me, just in case she tried to leave.

As soon as she got out, i was on her like a vulture on dead meat. I knew she could help convince Mike, and thats all we need. And similar to David, i wouldnt mind getting my friend back.

Now seeing a cheerleader and a basketball player together was super normal. It wasnt like me and David or Kaylin were the cliques kinda destroy that friend ship.

Anyways I see a cheerleader with her uniform put in tightly with a skinny build and red lipstick.

I already know that this is Sammy, so I move up and tap her back.

Sammy does a very sassy twirl around and her hair just slashes my eyes.

She immediately asks:

"And who do you think you are? Do you even know who your talking t-.. Oh. Hey Josesito."

I blush at that nickname cause im the kind of guy who doesnt really like nick names, but im down with family nicknames.

"Hey sam. I know this is really quick, but can you ditch 6th period. Im ditching it and I need you!"

"Jose, if your looking for a date, im already dating someone."

"(Sigh) No. Something is going up with Mike and the whole old school 5th grade crew. We need you."

" Ok fine. But dont waste my time, please."

I grab Sammy by my hand and signal David to go run off to the meeting bush.

Anyways, I started explaining to her everything about Mike, from the morning incedent to the point were he essentially came out as gay.

I also explained what we need her for. As soon as we reached the bush, we all ducked.

"So Mike is- Oh hey David!"

"Hey.. Sammy."

He reaches in for a hug and they start talking about Davids past.

She was a lot less salty about David then Yesse.

Thank God.

I then text Kaylin about the Mike situation.

"Hey Kay. You alright? How was the situation with Mike?"

"😖😖 Mike locked himself in McMillans closet. Hes essentially confirmed on his feelings, but doesnt want to come out😡."

My brain essentially crashed. I dont even know if im confident about this situation. Im hoping that Sammy can crack this guy down.

I explain to them whats up. David facepalms and Sammy starts tearing up.

I tell her to quiet down because we cant get caught and honestly, I didnt want to see her cry.
I eventually respond to her.

"Fuck. Thats just shit. We got Sammy here tho. Were going to try and crack him."

"Well get your ass over here. What do I do?"

"As stupid as this sounds, look for Yesse. You guys can look for McMillans key!"

As good as I felt about that, she quickly responded.

"Fuck No! I dont want to rob my favorite teachers own key. And even more importantly, I dont want to see that bitch."

"Dude, you gotta do it for Mike. Were going to wait here until you give us the go sign."

"Sure. Good luck."

I turn off my phone. We start talking about Mike and how this is going to work.

Eventually Kaylin texts me back, saying:

"Yo, im going to find Yesse. Try to look for McMillans mailbox.

We all start heading towards the front office.

The teachers mailbox is where the teacher can get their mail and late assingments. We have to enter the office and see if we can find it.

The office is a very boring place. Everyone there is tired and bored and you always want to leave. Overall, everyone sleeps while there.

The hall monitor guarding the front office was getting water, so me and David head in. I tell Sammy to cause a distraction outside.

David and I can seriously just walk past the front part until we get towards the back.

On one side, you can walk down to the specific rooms for the nurse and shit.

The other part has the mailbox and its very tight.

I tell David to walk into the school counselors hall, since hes the only guy next to the mailbox.

He walks away and I make my move.

McMillan has an easy code to enter.

SMH.

I get both of her closet Keys, and honestly, im going through a ton of emotion right now.

Part of me feels guilty, like im supposed too. Part of me feels like a badass spy leader. Another part just feels hungry and tired.

I walk out by crawling and I tell David to tell the school counselor that he has to get his backpack. This gives him an excuse, and we both walk back to the bush.

I hope Kaylins good.

Kaylin POV

Jose has seriously thrown me under the bush.

Making me look for Yesse is a pain already. That whore wont listen, and shes the only one of the original five that I still have a bad connection with.

I walk towards the back of the school to find Yesse there, texting and playing games.

I walk on over to her.

"Yesse, please get up."

For once, she does something and actually lifts herself up.

She gives me a dirty ass look and responds with a:

"What? What now?"

"I need you."

" i dont want to continue this, but yoh dont understand Mike. I can already tell thats what you want to ask me."

" yesse, i used to be best friends with you. We used to be sisters. Im sorry if ive hurt you, but I need you back. This isnt bullshit anyways! We need to help Mike. We formed 2/3 of Mikes most helpful girls and weve been there for him. Cmon. Were both bullshitting outselves here."

"I completely agree. I feel like weve both been Bitches. I apologize. I just always want to be the mom. I never had a Dad, so Im used to being the most treated, and thats how I want to be."

"I understand that. I hate being disrespected. We both do. Lets help Mike return to peace. Please."

"Yes, but this time, I want to do it as SISTERS, not just friends."

"I agree".

We pull in for a hug and begin to walk back to Jose's meeting bush.

We start talking about 5th grade and shit and staying away from hall monitors.

Lets do this shit.
