Chell woke up from her fall, luckily for her the one long fall boot she had on her managed to break her fall. Chell grabbed her portal gun from the ground and noticed her other long fall boot with Wheatley inside stuck on a piece of metal. Chell climbed up the metal and retrieved Wheatley and her other long fall boot and put it back on. Wheatley was in a state of rebooting and Chell shook him eventually Wheatley powered back on.
"AH! I'm not dead! I'm not dead! Thanks luv you saved me! Now any idea exactly where we are?" Wheatley asked. Chell and him could only wonder what awaits them in this part of aperture.
"I told you this place went down for miles! You probably don't want to carry me everywhere so plug me into your portal gun if you can!" Chell looked around for a spot to plug Wheatley into as she climbed down from the metal piece. Eventually she found a spot and plugged him straight into it,
"Thanks! Woaaaah seems the gun is giving me some extra juice! Well let's move on ahead and I'll try and figure out what features carried from my body to this potato!" Wheatley said with quite a lot of confidence. Chell nodded and agreed with Wheatley as they both started to navigate through the depths of aperture they just landed into.
Author's note: Just so I had more to write about I had Wheatley join Chell in the beginning of old aperture unlike GLaDOS in the original game.
