Thanking him profusely and offering him a free drink from her cafe whenever he was in the area, this was her way of accepting his kind gesture, with a new sense of safety.

She also had to ask Tim how long he'd known about her broken door and if he knew Red Robin would come round to replace the door.

Slipping inside the building and making her way to her room she closed the apartment door, one with an effectively working door, she leaned her head back and closed her eyes.

Something about Red Robin seemed familiar yet she couldn't put her finger on it, the mannerism seemed familiar yet the voice was low and not one she could place off the top of her head.

Taking off her purse she placed it on the kitchen table as she poured herself some water, "something wrong bug?" Plagg asked, grabbing a cheese pastry from the batch she had made this morning.

"No it's, it's I don't know" she paused staring out of her the glass doors that lead to her small balcony as she tried to think "did I ever mention the lock being broken to Tim or Red Robin or anyone at all?" she asked the kwamis.

Plagg gave her a shrug with some inaudible words as he chewed at the pastry. "Not that I recall Marinette but remember when you got attached these American vigilantes are said to be the greatest detectives in the world right." Tikki spoke.

Getting an affirmative nod from Marinette as she proceeded, "he might have stayed to watch to make sure you got inside safely you know after you got attacked" Marintte nodded thinking it over.

It would make sense, why save a person if they got attacked literally minutes later once you left. "He would see me take out the key and just shove the door open with pure force" she sighed running a hand over head "of course he noticed" she mumbled.

As long as he hadn't seen anything else she would be fine if not she was screwed. That night as she tried to go to sleep and think of anything else of how her identity and position of the guardian were not compromised she could not, she simply kept tossing and turning.

Looking at her beloved kwami's they both slept soundly, sighing she tossed on a jumper to deal with the cold Gotham night and went to the kitchen grabbing her phone, when she couldn't think whether it was made to wear or eat depending on the day.

And right it was the middle of the night and she had no intention to wake the two gods sleeping down the hall from her so she got to work on baking some lemon curd mascarpone puff pastries following a recipe she had found a few days prior.
