Amyra was ready the next day morning when Alvin came and knocked her room door.

"Good Morning, Lady Amyra" greeted the butler when she opened the door, giving her a slight bow, "Hope you slept well"

She had a really long dreamless sleep last night, on this soft fluffy bed. When she woke up this morning to the chirping sound of the birds and crickets outside. Myra felt soo good and refreshed. It really felt like she was really in heaven.

"Yes, I had a good sleep, last night. Thank you", said Myra politely.

Alvin nodded, "Lord Theodore wants you to join him for the breakfast".

Myra hesitated, She didn't want to meet the lord at the moment. She found him rather too intimidating and her heart fluttered nervously whenever she is around him. That too having her breakfast with him was something she had never dreamed of. She felt that a commoner like her, A no-one; in this rich populated land didn't deserve that kind of a luxury.

"Umm.. Can't I have my food later?" She asked Alvin, nervously.

The butler, shook his head, "The lord demands your presence Milady. Allow me to lead the way".

Myra let out a sigh and grimly followed Alvin throughout the long corridors.

Reaching the dining room, Amyra saw the lord sitting at the head of the long table. His hair was neatly combed back and he was dressed in a fine suit.

There was a man, sitting to the Lord's right and a beautiful woman with long blonde hair, seated next to the man. Both the man and the woman were trueborns from the looks of it.

The lord and the demon man were seriously discussing something while the woman looked as if she was bored of their company.

Myra hesitated to enter. All the three of them seemed pretty close and she didn't want to be an intruder among them. But, before the butler could announce her presence, the lord looked up and gave her a warm smile. A light dimple appeared on his cheek giving him a boyish look.

"Ah!! There you are" He said cheerfully waving at her, and that made the other two members, who were seated at the table to look at her curiously.

Myra smiled awkwardly as she walked inside. Theodore motioned her to sit next to him and the butler drew out the empty chair to the Lord's left, for her to be seated. Having no other option, Myra sat down.

"Who is this, Theo?" asked the woman who was at the table, smiling at Myra.

This woman must be really close to the lord, as she is addressing him informally, thought Myra.

The trueborn man, who was seated next to the lord regarded her with a serious expression before his lips widened into a smile. Turning his head to face the Lord. "Theo, won't you introduce us to your beautiful guest?" he asked the lord in a teasing tone. Theodore shook his head with a chuckle.

"Myra, this is my cousin, Leonard Swanson", said the lord, pointing at the Trueborn man next to him, and then pointed at the woman, "And that is his wife Florence Swanson".

Myra's eyes widened with realisation. If everything had gone right, she would have been working for these two people seated in front of her, by now. "Leo, Flo, meet Amyra. My special guest" introduced the lord.

Myra smiled meekly at the two trueborns. Her cheek colour rose at the way, the lord introduced her as 'his special guest'.

"Nice to meet you, Amyra" said Mr. swanson grinning.

He was also a handsome young man. He looked slightly similar to the lord, except that Mr. swanson had reddish brown hair while, Lord Theodore had jet black hair and the Lord was a little well built compared to his cousin.

Mrs. Swanson on the other hand was a beautiful young lady, with blonde hair that floated all the way down her waist. The bottom part of her hair was curled to form ringlets. Her amber eyes and fair skin made Myra catch her breath. Both the husband and wife seemed friendly.

"Miss Amyra, don't feel shy. Help yourself" said Mr. Swanson looking at Myra, motioning at the breakfast items placed on the table, before filling his platter with food.

The breakfast table was filled with different kinds of delicacies to choose from; such as toasts, hot rolls, roasted potatoes, baked cakes and of course, tea-coffee to complete the menu. Myra looked around with astonishment. 'Is this how they eat everyday?'.

Gingerly picking up a few of the food items and placing it on her plate, she started eating.

"Where are you from Amyra?" asked Mrs. Swanson after a while, taking a bite from her toast. "And how do you and Theo know each other?"

Everyone was looking at Myra, she blushed and lowered her eyes upon receiving so much attention.

"From Fidora, Mrs. swanson" said Myra playing with her food, deciding to ignore her other question.

Mrs. swanson, smiled at Myra. "Please call me by my name, Amyra. Since I am addressing you, by your first name, It is only fair that you do the same". Myra just nodded, "You can call me Florence or Flo or whichever you prefer".

Florence, didn't know who this young lady was. She seemed to be a human and was beautiful according to her. The girl whom Theodore had introduced by the name Amyra, had a naturally wavy long chestnut brown hair which matched her chocolate colored eyes. She was fair skinned and had a glossy pale pinkish lips. Florence noted that everything about this young lady shouted out elegance and this piqued her interest about who she might be.

"And you didn't tell us how you are acquainted with Theodore?" asked Mr. swanson looking at her with curiosity.

Myra grimaced, turning to look at the lord, who was munching on his food as if he wasn't interested in the conversation. Sighing softly, she said, "Two men tried to kidnap me yesterday, and his lord, who happened to be riding that way, rescued me from those men and was kind enough to let me stay here for a while, until I find a new place to reside at".

Theodore scowled darkly hearing this, but decided not to comment anything for the time being.

"Oh dear! Were you hurt anywhere?", Florence asked sounding concerned and Myra shook her head.

After a little more interrogation, the conversation gradually turned into political matters. Lord Theodore and Mr. Swanson was discussing something about the Dark witches causing havoc in the land, by killing random people in the name of sacrifices.

Myra on the other hand, couldn't understand much of their conversation, and was feeling slightly bored. She had already finished eating and sat there, considering that it to be impolite to leave the table before every one was done with theirs.

Maybe Lady Florence, sensed Myra's boredom, "Amyra, how you ever been to the Horlick's street before?" she asked out of the blue.

"Yes, I was there yesterday" replied Myra and that caught Theodore's attention.

"Why were you there?" asked Theodore.

Myra could feel his golden eyes staring at her, but she didn't lift her head up. "I was there to meet Mr. Oliver Hutton, to talk about my new job".

The Lord frowned but nodded his head anyways. "Will you come shopping with me tomorrow Amyra?" Florence asked her excitedly. "It's been a long time since I last went shopping, it will be fun if I have you as a company".

Myra hesitated. She had already been to that street once and knew that it was ment for high class people, besides she had lost all her savings to those thieves and now she didn't even have a work in hand. Shopping was the last thing she wanted to do at the moment.

"I--, I don't thi-" she started but the Lord chimed in, answering for her.

"Flo, don't worry, she will join you on your shopping spree tomorrow".
