Blood-Wraith was a little shaky, but regained his balance. "Voideborne's holding up, thankfully... argh..."
Dragoslava cracked her knuckles. "Maybe you should take a breather, Blood. Don't worry, I got this... Where's Desislav?"
"He's in the bushes."
Dragoslava looked around, then returned her attention to the Lich. "Good enough. Can you keep Desislav safe, Blood?"
Blood-Wraith backed up to the bushes. "Sure thing, sister."
"Alright, Alright!" Dragoslava stretched her limbs a little and rolled her neck. "It's about time I put these muscles to use."
After regaining his bearings, the Lich used his good arm to rip a metal spire out of the ground. "DAMN YOU ALL TO DEATH! And you were supposed to be off chasing that foolish beast! Some distraction that was."
"Oh? Well well well. You hear that Blood? Remember: Loose lips sink ships..."
"IT DOESN'T MATTER!" The Lich slammed the club into the ground, aiming for Dragoslava. "You all will be pulp by the time I'm done with you! Unfit to even be one of my soldiers!!"
Dragoslava had a split second to figure out what to do. Did she stop the club? Or did she go for the leg? She went for the leg. "You know what they say: BREAK A LEG, LICH!" She shouted as she fractured the giant bones.
The Lich roared in anger. "INSOLENT WHELP!" He tried to charge, but was hindered by the injury. "OF COURSE THE HUNTERS HAD TO GIVE BIRTH TO YOU DETESTABLE SPAWN."
"Well that's not very... CRAP!" The club was coming her way, forcing Dragoslava to backflip out of the way. Next came a return swing. That arm was becoming a nuisance, so she gambled. As it returned, Dragoslava leapt up and let it hit her. She was betting on her metal body protecting her from the impact, her hope being that the Lich would lose track of her.
"WHAT?! WHERE IS SHE?!"
"Hook! Line! And... SINKER!!" Dragoslava punched the good shoulder so hard that it dislocated the bone, leaving it hanging. Another scream followed. She had to get off quickly, however. The Lich went ballistic, slamming his head into the ground over and over again, back and forth.
Blood-Wraith saw an opportunity to attack the head again. Just as the Lich was about to do another front slam, he rammed Voidborne into the ground. A surge of metal spikes shot up and stabbed the torso, stopping the wild attacks. "YES! Did you see that, Desislav?!"
"Nice shot, Blood!" Dragoslava complimented as she ran over. "... but we're not done yet."
Something emerged from the giant's corpse. "Well played, nephew..." The Lich's skull now rested on a bulky, yet gaunt body of bone and muscle.
Dragoslava sighed with a hint of smugness. "Jeez, this guy doesn't give up, does he?"
"There has to be something..." Blood-Wraith said to himself as the Lich approached. He scanned the area until his eyes settled on the spider's corpse. "I got an idea! Sister, stall the Lich for me."
"Can do, Blood!"
Dragoslava decked the Lich hard, leading to them exchanging blows. With this happening, Blood-Wraith set his sights on the spider. His fire turned blue and he flew up to it. A fiery aura enveloped the corpse, pulling it off of the spire it rested on. After going into it, the body crashed to the ground with a thud. It thrashed and writhed as it began to transform. The body became like blue lava with a metal exoskeleton containing it. Any bone became a polished black and six eyes opened up on its face. What the Lich did not expect was a stream of web latching onto his waist, pulling him into an explosive fireball. The spider then jumped to Dragoslava's side.
