The preparations for the journey to The Deep Unlight were hectic. A lot of new information was being presented and it was a lot to take in. Kresimira did not want to lose members of her family and her friends. She was hounding Dragoslava to not be so hasty. Corentin and Aureolus were also very concerned, with the latter wanting to go along. Naturally everyone said no to this. Tusk was losing his mind over Deimos and the fact that Blood-Wraith had achieved ULTRAMagic. His student having taken on the form of a full-sized dragon was the least of his worries.

"Blood, I mean no exaggeration, but this is absolutely beyond comprehension! And I truly mean it this time" Tusk exclaimed. "Someone having attained ULTRAMagic this fast is unheard of! It took me and dad years to pull this off. What you seem to be failing to realize is that something could go wrong! ULTRAMagic mages usually have the most problems because it strains their body and mind. You need to train and practice now! Again, what if something goes wrong while we're in the middle of something important?!"

"I... don't know. I didn't really consider that possibility..."

"You didn't consider... You could easily lose control of your magic! I mean, okay, it is unlikely. That doesn't mean it's impossible though. What if..."

Blood-Wraith cut him off. "Teacher, you seem to be hung up on the what if's. You can't let fear rule your life. I've been able to maintain my dragon form, so I imagine that's a good sign..."

Tusk had the most irritated look on his face. "You don't even know all of your forms! And why did you have to get your last fragment from him!?" He viciously pointed at Deimos, who had just walked up.

Deimos gave a nervous chuckle. "Well if it's any consolation..."

He was cut off by Tusk growling at him... until the angry tree man was hit in the head by a weak fireball. "OW! Okay, who threw... Donia?!"

She then hit him upside the head. "Save that anger for the Lich, Sleepy Bark."

Auda darted out from behind her and looked up at Blood-Wraith. "Whoa... Aunt Donia, that's Mr. Fire... but now he's Mr. Dragon!"

"So your Blood-Wraith, aye? It's nice to finally meet you! I'm Donia, Tusk's future wife."

"Donia..." Tusk muttered, embarrassed.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too," Blood-Wraith replied. "Sorry about the circumstances and my lack of presentability at the moment. Auda, be careful around my feet."

The conversation was interrupted by Dragoslava and Kresimira arguing as they approached. "Drago, please! Don't be rash about this! Everyone else is literally halfway here! Please wait a little longer..."

"Sis, we don't have time to wait around. We need to move now and I also need to return the favor to that stupid Lich... heh heh, can't wait to use this baby." Dragoslava tucked an ammo clip into one of the pockets of her trench coat.

"Please tell me that isn't what I think it is..."

Corentin had finally caught up with the two. "Drago, I implore you to wait. Word from your father says they're an hour away from the Iron City..."

"Look, nothing against dad, but we don't have an hour." She then whistled. "Desislav?! You ready yet?"

"As ready as I'll ever be. Let's grind that Lich to dust." Desislav had a backpack filled with medical and combat supplies. "Don't worry Kresimira, We'll make it back home."

She took a deep breath, trying to hold back her emotions. "Dragoslava, this is incredibly reckless. Promise me you will come home... in one piece?"

"Promise." Dragoslava then gave her a hug.
