Chapter 3: The Reckoning

Juno managed to find out where her Auntie Mei was, and her phone number. Eventually managing to call/communicate/call her. And soon would be making her way to go see her. But that would take some time.

Juno of course went back to that secret Talon base where Sombra took her hoping that she could get a ride on one of those private jets. But she was denied. The reason why she wasn't shot on sight was because everyone at that base remembered Juno.

One Omnic servent/flight attendant who knew her/saw her on the jet before told her that she could get a ride another way. Helping her book a ticket on a regular airplane at the local airport.

And so, Juno began to make her way there.

Of course Mei was overstatic to know Juno was here on Earth having heard so much about her from her friend/Juno's mom.

Mei was getting the Artic (short for Antarctica) base ready for Juno's arrival. So it was very lively. All the other researchers with Mei were helping her decorate too. Taking a break from eye melting work.

Mei: " oh! I gotta cook this amazing fish stew for her! I'll be right back!" Gonna go ice fishing. But first, gotta put on that penguin costume- Mei thought.

" be back soon!" The other researchers said, happily. All joyful with smiles. Everyone was very happy and excited to do this for Mei and meet Juno. Seeing Mei dress up as a penguin to go ice fishing. Because she saids that when Polar Bears see her like this it fools them thinking she's a penguin. Even though everyone else thinks when Polar Bears see that wacky outfit they probably just steer clear of whoever is insane enough to wear that.

Although Sombra supposedly had a few days in advance to get there first well things... didn't go as planned. Due to severe weather, her jet had to land or stay stationary for some days. So that ate up some days. Little did she or Juno know but the day they both arrived at that Watchpoint would be the day that changed both of their lives forever.

Sombra got to the base first, being the closer one of the two. Juno would arrive a few minutes after.

She noticed that the base seemed very lively for some odd reason. Is doing research that fun? Really?- Sombra thought. Never understanding how these nerds can get off on looking at boring stuff. She could just imagine Moria getting high off of looking at mere test results.

What Sombra defined as fun was a night out on town partying, drinking tequila till the sun comes out. Just not the side effect of that being hung over.

When Sombra stealthily dropped down to where they kept the files she saw that these metal cabin drawers were all locked and you needed a key to get it. Sombra groaned thinking 'how old school can you get?' Thinking 'who still uses these things anyway?' Thinking either she'll have to look for the key around the base or lock pick it herself.

She decided to pick the lock herself but that's when one research just happened to come into the room and saw her doing that. Alerting the others.

Sombra sighed and said " just couldn't be an easy mission huh?" As she began to gun down every researcher here.

Chasing one guy down a corridor, that's when both Juno and Sombra saw each other.

Juno's eyes widen seeing one researcher just drop down on the cold hard ground face first. Being shot in the back of the head, by none other than Sombra.

Sombra's eyes widen. Seeing Juno here. What's she doing here?! She's not suppose to be here!- was too by through Sombra's thoughts.

Juno was in shock. Stunned to see Sombra here. As well as frozen in fear at what she had just witnessed her done. She just saw her kill a person right in front of her eyes.
