chapter 1:One of cabins

Simon was walking around the Jericho when he suddenly heard sounds from a cabin not far away, curious, he headed towards it and was surprised to see Markus in there with North.
He saw how they were kissing and giggling, when suddenly Markus's gaze fell on Simon standing at the entrance to the cabin, Simon stood there and North, without noticing him, left the cabin. Markus's gaze was fixed on Simon.

Seeing them kissing, he was ready to walk away as to not disturb them, when suddenly a voice echoed behind him

Markus: "Enjoying the view?"

Turning around, Simon saw Markus behind him, a smirk on his face, he was a little startled by Simon's sudden appearence and he quickly recomposed himself

Simon: "Ah, its you, what are you doing here?"

Markus gave Simon a calm and slightly mischievous smile before answering and leaning on the wall

Markus: "Well, I could ask you the same question."

He says in a friendly tone, crossing his arms over his chest and watching Simon as if he was studying him

Markus: "Were you spying on us?"

Simon chuckled nervously a little, he didn't expect to be called out so quickly, but he tried to keep his composure.

Simon: "Of course not, i just happened to be passing through here"

He replied, a slight hint of sarcasm in his tone, his eyes flicked over to Markus, studying him as he leaned against the wall

While waiting for an answer, Markus pushed himself off the wall and took a few relaxed steps towards Simon

Markus: "Come on, don't be shy. I won't bite, I promise."

He teased with a smirk, his eyes not leaving Simon's face for a second

Simon swallowed nervously as Markus approached him, his mind racing as he tried to come up with a good excuse

Simon: "I... I was coming here to... to..."

He trailed off, unable to think of anything convincing, finally he just admitted the truth

Simon: "Ok, ok, you got me. I was spying on you and North, I heard noises from the cabin and got curious"

Markus chuckled softly at Simon's honest answer, his smirk becoming a more genuine smile

Markus: "Haha, at least you're being honest now. I guess I can't blame you though, North and I can be a bit... vocal when we're together."

He took a few more steps closer, closing the distance between them

Markus: "So you were listening to us, huh? And what exactly did you hear?"

Simon felt a little flustered as Markus closed the distance between them, he could feel his thirium pump skip a beat, he tried to act calm and collected but it was difficult with Markus so close, he thought back to the sounds he heard from the cabin

Simon: "I... I heard laughter and giggling, and... and..."

He swallowed again, his eyes darting away from Markus

Simon: "...and I saw you both kissing"

Markus' smile grew into a sly grin as Simon confirmed what he knew he heard, he could see the flustered look on his face and he found it amusing

Markus: "Oh really? You heard us and saw us kissing?"

He teased in a playful tone, taking a step forward so that they were now standing very close to each other, Markus leaned in close, a mischievous glint in his eyes

Markus: "And did you wish it was you in that cabin with me instead of North?"

Simon's eyes widened as Markus's leaned in, their faces just a few inches apart, he could feel his thirium pump speed up at the proximity and his mind went blank for a moment

Simon: "I... I..."

He tried to speak, but the words wouldn't come out, he was too flustered and caught off guard by Markus's question, he tried to avoid eye contact as his cheeks glowed blue

Markus chuckled, finding Simon's reaction adorable and amusing, he enjoyed teasing him like this. He could see the way Simon's thirium pump was racing and the bright blue on his cheeks, knowing that he was affecting him

Markus: "What's the matter, Simon? Cat got your tongue?"

He teased, a smug smile on his face, he reached out and gently lifted Simon's chin with his fingers, forcing him to look at him directly

Simon's breath hitched as Markus lifted his chin, forcing him to meet his gaze, he tried to compose himself but it was futile, his mind was a jumbled mess and he could feel his thirum pump beating faster and faster

Simon: "I... I... I don't..."

He tried to speak, but all that came out were stuttered words, he could feel the intensity of Markus's gaze and he couldn't look away, his mind going blank as he got lost in the moment

Markus chuckled softly at Simon's fumbling attempts to speak, his smile growing wider as he enjoyed the effect he had on him, it was entertaining to see him flustered like this

Markus: "Having trouble finding your words there, Simon? How cute."

He teased once more, his touch on Simon's chin gentler than his tone, his thumb gently caressed his skin, slowly moving across his cheek

Simon felt a shiver run through him as Markus's thumb caressed his cheek, he closed his eyes for a moment, trying to collect his thoughts, but his mind was still a mess

Simon: "I... I'm not cute..."

He protested weakly, but his words lacked conviction, he was completely under Markus's spell, his thirium pump racing and his cheeks practically glowing blue

Markus: "Oh, but you are. You're very cute when you're all flustered like this."

Markus' tone was still playful, but there was a hint of something else to it now, something a little more serious. His eyes roaming over Simon's face, taking in every little detail. His thumb still continued to caress his cheek, enjoying the feeling of his skin under his touch

Markus: "You're also really bad at hiding your true feelings, you know that?"

Simon's cheeks flushed even darker blue at his words, he knew he was a terrible liar and an even worse actor, trying to hide his feelings for Markus had never worked, but somehow he had hoped Markus hadn't noticed

The caress on his cheek was driving him crazy, his mind clouded by a mix of emotions, desire, embarrassment, and a hint of defiance

Simon: "And... and what makes you think you know my true feelings?"

He asked, trying to sound confident but failing miserably
