Kayla had always watched Danny Gonzalez. Ever since her now ex-friend showed her the "Up" But Everything About It Is Bad video. She has been watching him for over twenty years and doesn't plan to stop soon. Until it happened. Danny is well into his fifties now, but he never fails to upload a video at least once a month, if not more. Some would say that it's not great if a YouTuber only uploads once a month, but Kayla understands that life happens, and he has a family of his own that takes priority. Any video that Danny posts is great in her mind, and she never fails to drop whatever she is doing to watch the newest one. Danny had just uploaded a new video, and Kayla took an early lunch break to watch it.
"Hey Greg. So, I've got something to tell you. I'm sure this won't be a shock to you but I'm going to stop making YouTube videos. I just feel like I'm getting too old for it at this point, and my kids are growing up and even with my relaxed schedule, it feels like I'm missing out." Danny stopped to take a breath, and his blue eyes were misty with tears. "You guys will never know how much you all mean to me, and I will never forget about the fastest-growing army on YouTube (don't look it up). I may do things in the future, but I felt like this announcement was going to happen eventually, and I needed to just get it over with. But for now, I'm going to focus on my family and travel a bit. Maybe I'll come back. Maybe I won't but don't worry. My channel will still stay up and you can watch my videos as much or as little as you want! Well, that's all Greg. Bye!"
The screen was frozen on a screen of Danny waving his hand as he always did. Kayla sat still, shocked. This is the worst thing that could've happened. Kayla couldn't believe her ears or her eyes. She felt her chest get heavy and her eyes start to water.
'This can't be happening.' She thought to herself. She thought about calling her best friend, Kaitlynn, with whom she's always shared a love of Danny, but she knew that Kaitlynn wouldn't answer right now. She decided to try and finish out her day at work and try to push it to the back of her mind.
