It was late, much later than they should have been awake, but neither Minho nor Jisung seemed to care. The soft glow of fairy lights wrapped around the bedpost cast a gentle light over the room, illuminating the small space where they sat cross-legged on the floor. A half-empty bag of chips lay discarded between them, and the remnants of a movie played quietly in the background, forgotten.

Jisung leaned back on his palms, his hoodie slightly too big, making him look smaller and cozier than usual. Minho was sitting close to him, their knees occasionally brushing, sending little sparks through both of them. They had spent the entire evening like this—joking, teasing, sharing stories, and it felt perfect. Comfortable. Safe.

“Hey,” Minho’s voice was low, cutting through the soft hum of the room. His eyes, warm and dark, settled on Jisung’s face, studying him in that way only Minho could—like he was reading every thought Jisung had without him saying a word.

“Hm?” Jisung turned his head slightly, meeting Minho’s gaze, a soft smile tugging at the corners of his lips. He felt his heart skip a beat, the way it always did when Minho looked at him like that, like he was the most important person in the room.

Without saying anything, Minho leaned in closer, so close that Jisung could feel his breath, warm against his skin. His heart raced, and his smile faltered just a little, replaced by something else—anticipation, maybe.

“Do you ever…” Minho trailed off, his voice barely more than a whisper. His hand moved almost unconsciously, brushing a strand of hair away from Jisung’s face. “Do you ever just feel like this is exactly where you’re supposed to be?”

Jisung blinked, surprised by the sudden question, but he nodded. “Yeah… with you, it feels like home.”

That was all it took.

Minho closed the small gap between them, his lips meeting Jisung’s in the softest kiss—tentative at first, as if he was testing the waters, but then something shifted. Jisung leaned into him, responding with a sweet eagerness, his fingers reaching up to tangle in Minho’s soft hair.

The kiss deepened, slow and unrushed, like they had all the time in the world. Minho’s hands found their way to Jisung’s waist, pulling him closer until their bodies were pressed together. Jisung’s heart was pounding in his chest, but it felt right—like this was exactly where he wanted to be. There was no rush, no urgency, just the warmth of each other’s presence, the gentle movements of their lips, and the quiet understanding that they were both exactly where they belonged.

When they finally pulled away, breathless but grinning, Jisung couldn’t help but laugh softly, his forehead resting against Minho’s. “You know,” he said, his voice a little shaky but full of affection, “you really know how to ruin a movie night.”

Minho chuckled, his arms still wrapped around Jisung, holding him close. “Ruin? I think I made it better.”

“Maybe,” Jisung teased, though his bright smile betrayed him. “But next time, let’s actually finish the movie.”

Minho hummed thoughtfully, leaning in to brush his lips against Jisung’s once more—a quick, playful kiss. “We’ll see,” he said softly. “But I think I prefer this.”

Jisung’s cheeks flushed as he buried his face in Minho’s shoulder, his heart full and light. “Yeah, me too.”

And in that quiet room, with the soft glow of fairy lights surrounding them, everything felt perfect.
