The towering glass building of Lee Enterprises stood proudly in the middle of the bustling city. With its sleek design and shining exterior, it was a landmark that everyone recognized. Today, Minho—CEO of the multinational corporation—was not particularly in the mood for the formalities of the business world. He had just wrapped up a grueling board meeting and was looking forward to heading home early for once.

His tailored suit fit him perfectly, exuding authority with every step he took as he made his way out of the building. He barely glanced at the people walking by on the busy street, most of them employees who tried their best to stay out of his way.

Minho, known for his sharp mind and even sharper tongue, was often misunderstood as cold or unapproachable. What most people didn’t know was that beneath the serious demeanor, he was just someone who had become too used to the pressure of his position.

As he stepped out of the revolving doors, something caught his eye.

It wasn’t a flash of expensive cars or the sea of suits rushing to and from the building—it was a young man. A young man who looked entirely out of place in front of the sleek headquarters, dressed casually in an oversized hoodie, ripped jeans, and sneakers. His dark brown hair was slightly tousled, and there was a soft, almost carefree aura around him as he looked up at the massive building, completely unaware that Minho was watching him.

Jisung had no idea he had just wandered in front of one of the most prestigious companies in the city. He was only trying to find a coffee shop that his friend Felix had recommended. But as he stood there, staring up at the towering building, he couldn’t help but wonder what it would be like to work in such a place. The people walking in and out looked like they had their lives together—polished, successful, and driven. The exact opposite of how Jisung felt most of the time.

“Excuse me,” a voice suddenly broke through Jisung’s thoughts.

Startled, Jisung turned to find himself face to face with a man who looked like he had just stepped out of a magazine. The sharp jawline, the perfectly styled hair, and those piercing eyes—he immediately recognized him.

Lee Minho.

The CEO of Lee Enterprises.

“Uh… me?” Jisung stammered, unsure of why someone like Him was being spoken to by someone like Minho.

Minho’s lips quirked into a small, almost amused smile. “Yeah, you. You’re blocking the entrance.”

Jisung’s face turned bright red. “Oh! Sorry! I-I didn’t realize…”

Minho waved a hand, dismissing the apology. “It’s fine. You just looked… lost.”

Jisung’s heart pounded in his chest. This wasn’t how he imagined his day going. He hadn’t meant to stand out in front of the building like some kind of lost tourist, and now he was face-to-face with the CEO himself.

“Well, I kind of am lost,” Jisung admitted sheepishly. “I was looking for a coffee shop… but I guess I wandered into corporate land instead.”

Minho raised an eyebrow. He wasn’t used to people speaking so casually to him, especially not random strangers. There was something refreshing about it. Without thinking, Minho glanced at his watch and then back at Jisung.

“Why don’t I show you where it is?”

Jisung blinked, completely thrown off. “Wait, you want to…?”

Minho shrugged, a rare, playful glint in his eyes. “I was planning on getting a coffee anyway. Might as well help out a lost wanderer.”

Jisung couldn’t believe it. This had to be a dream, right? There was no way someone like Minho was offering to help him find a coffee shop. But before he could overthink it, Minho was already walking ahead, and Jisung had no choice but to follow.

As they walked side by side down the street, the surrealness of the situation began to sink in. Jisung kept sneaking glances at Minho, who walked with the kind of confidence that came naturally to someone in his position. He didn’t seem to mind Jisung’s presence at all, which only made Jisung more nervous.

“So… you’re the CEO of that huge company,” Jisung said after a few moments of awkward silence.

Minho smirked, his hands casually tucked into his pockets. “Last I checked, yeah.”

Jisung laughed nervously. “I bet that’s a lot of pressure.”

Minho tilted his head, thinking about the question for a moment. “It can be. But you get used to it.”

“Do you even have time to do normal things? Like, go to a coffee shop?” Jisung asked, his curiosity getting the better of him.

Minho chuckled softly. “Not as often as I’d like. But sometimes you have to make time for the little things.”

Jisung smiled, feeling a bit more relaxed. “You’re way more normal than I expected.”

Minho froze and raised an eyebrow. “What did you expect?”

“I don’t know… suit-wearing robot CEO?” Jisung teased, his playful side peeking out.

Minho rolled his eyes, but there was no malice behind it. “Don’t get used to it.”

They reached the coffee shop Felix had told Jisung about, and Minho held the door open for him, a small, polite gesture that caught Jisung off guard. Once inside, they ordered their drinks, and somehow ended up sitting at a table near the window, talking like they’d known each other for longer than just a few minutes.

“So, what do you do?” Minho asked, genuinely curious now.

Jisung took a sip of his drink, trying to think of a way to make his answer sound less… average. “I’m… kind of between things right now. I work at a music store part-time, but I’m also trying to get into composing.”

Minho’s interest piqued. “Composing? You write music?”

Jisung nodded. “Yeah. It’s kind of a passion of mine.”

Minho leaned back in his chair, a thoughtful look crossing his face. “You must be good at it.”

Jisung laughed, shaking his head. “I don’t know about that. I’m just trying to figure things out.”

They continued talking, the conversation flowing easily, and Jisung found himself forgetting who Minho was for a moment. He wasn’t the untouchable CEO of a massive corporation; he was just… Minho. The guy who was interested in his random stories and who laughed at his dumb jokes.

As they wrapped up their coffee, Minho checked his phone, his expression shifting slightly as reality crept back in. “I should probably get going. Duty calls.”

Jisung felt a pang of disappointment but nodded. “Right, of course. Thanks for showing me the place, though. I probably would’ve wandered around for hours.”

Minho smiled. “Anytime.”

As they stood to leave, Jisung hesitated, biting his lip before gathering the courage to speak. “I, uh… don’t know if this is weird or not, but… if you ever want to get coffee again, I’m usually free.”

Minho looked at him for a moment, surprised but not displeased. A slow smile spread across his face. “I’ll keep that in mind.”

And with that, they parted ways—Minho returning to his world of business meetings and high-stakes decisions, and Jisung heading home, wondering if he had just lived through the most bizarre and wonderful day of his life.

Later that night, Jisung received a message from Seungmin, who had heard all about the interaction from the staff at Lee Enterprises. Him and the rest of the group wasted no time teasing Jisung in their group chat.

“Did you seriously have coffee with Lee Minho?” Felix typed, followed by a string of laughing emojis.

“I can’t believe you managed to make the CEO like you by being lost” Jeongin added.

Jisung sighed dramatically, sending back a series of annoyed emojis. “It wasn’t like that!”

But deep down, he couldn’t help but smile.

Maybe it was like that. And maybe, just maybe, Minho would actually take him up on that second coffee.
