Why not? I ask myself,
As I'm giving up.
Why can't I push through,
This dark and dreaded time?
Why not? I ask myself,
As I'm arguing with a loved one.
How come we all just can't
get along with one another.
Why not? I ask myself,
As I'm doubting my own thoughts.
I can do what I want,
No one can stop me.
Why not? I ask myself.
Why can't I save the world.
