My eyes welled with tears as I looked up into the mirror. My eyes scanned over the scars that tainted my face.I jumped when someone knocked on the door.
"Hey, Blaine! Me and Damon are going out, okay? Call me if you need anything." My brother, Hayes peeked his head inside the bathroom.
"It's Damon and I!" His fiancé, Damon, yelled from what sounds like the living room.
"Whatever!" Hayes yelled back.
"I'll be back soon. Don't burn the house down!" He grinned then giggled giddily when Damon pulled him out of the door.
We had recently moved out of the apartment and Hayes bought himself and I a car.
I heard the door lock and slid to the tiled floor.
My hands reached for something I haven't used in a while.
The shirt I was wearing rode up, revealing the healing scars that affiliated my wrists and forearms.
The slick blade was held between two fingers and I held it up to my skin, letting out a yell of frustration.
I threw the blade back into the drawer, slamming it shut.
My back hit the wall and I ran my hands through my hair.
I walk out of the bathroom and into my room. Hayes and Damon are getting married today.
After I changed into the suit, I walk into the kitchen and start looking nice through the refrigerator for food.
I know there will be food at the wedding but I'm hungry now.
My phone began ringing and Hayes' voice filled the silence.
"Blaine... oh my god! I don't know what to do! Can you get here? I'm so nervous right now!" I could hear the nervousness in his voice.
"I'll be right there just make sure they've got some food set out for me." He scoffed then ended the call.
I slipped on my shoes and fixed my hair.
I walked out of the house, locking the door and getting into my black Jeep Wrangler.
When I got to the beach where the wedding is being held, I walked across the sand.
Hayes is sitting down with his hands in his hair.
"What's wrong?" My eyebrows furrowed in worry.
"I just don't know if I'm making the right decision!"
"Really? You've been with Damon for three fucking years. He's the best decision you made in your life." I reassured him and he gave me a grateful smile.
"Thanks, Blaine." I patted his shoulder and walked over to the food.
I was Hayes' man of honor and some guy I didn't know was Damon's. Apparently, the brother to Damon's friend was also a best man.
He was said to be my age and I anticipated meeting him.
I grabbed a plate and started piling items on it.
"Don't eat too much. There is still cake."
I turned around and faced Damon.
"I'm starved." I grinned and he walked over to me, taking a bite of the salmon that was on my plate.
"I was going to eat that?"
"You don't need all of it!"
"Whatever." I pushed past him and he hugged me.
