Wall Rose High School. (Eren x Levi)

visiting Mikasa

Today Eren and I are going to check on Mikasa. Obviously we won't be able to talk to her because she's in a coma but we can still get to see her.

I turn the key and the engine roars to life. Eren sits in the passenger seat and I sit in the driver's. I put my foot on the gas and we go to the hospital.

Eren is very quiet to whole ride.

I turn the music on to make the silence less awkward.

I try to focus on the song.

It's been a long day,

I look over at Eren and the song is making him cry. I quickly change it.

I miss you,

I miss your smile,

And I still shed a tear every once and awhile.

Even though it's different now,

You're still here somehow.

I change it once again.

Sing us a song you're the piano man.

Sing us a song tonight.

We're all in a mood for a melody.

And you got us feeling alright.

I starts singing along. It makes Eren smile. He eventually starts singing along.

We sing until we get to the hospital. I park the car. We both get out and walk in.

I walk towards the nurse and ask for directions to Mikasa's room.

She guides us to the room. We walk in and the nurse walks away leaving us with Mikasa. We both sit on either side of her. She's hooked up to the machine that shows the heartbeat making the "beep beep" sound in the background. She also wears a mask that allows air to flow into her lungs. She also has bandages and needles in her a pumping water Into her system..

"Oh Mikasa..." Eren says in a hushed voice. He tears up again and I walk over and sit next to him instead of sitting on the opposite end of the room.

I put my arm around him and he hugs me tightly crying into my chest.

I can't breathe..

Litterly, Eren has a tough grip.

"E-Eren...c-cant...b-b-breathe."

"O-oops sorry." His hug lightens and he stops crying a little.

He eventually stops crying and looks up at me with red eyes.

"We should get going." I say. He nods silently. His eyes still red and puffy from his tears

We get back to the car and ride to Eren's house. We enter the living room and sit on the couch. "I'll go make something." I announce. As I stand up Eren grabs my hand and pulls me back down so I re-sit onto the couch.

"Levi..when we were in Spanish class the day it happened... I-I thought I'd die in your arms not being able to tell you...t-to tell y-you..."

"Tell me what Brat?" I ask.

"To t-tell you that I.... I-I....l-lo"
