Levi sleeps soundly in bed hugging the pillow. I slide out and put on a sweatshirt. Then I walk to the window and open it up. I much down and put my leg out so my foot touches the fire escape. When I get my whole self out the window and onto the fire escape. I sit down on the metal flooring then lay myself down and stare up into the night sky tracing over the stars with my hand. The moonlight shines down on the building outlining everything. It's fantastic.

"Brat, what are you doing? It's so darn cold out." Levi complains poking his head out the window. I jump a little not knowing he'd be awake. I wave my hand telling him to come out. He grunt and disappears into the darkness of the bedroom. He then reappears with a blanket and a sweatshirt on. He climbs out the window and lays next to me putting the blanket over us making it seem warmer outside even though it's freezing. He scoots closer to me begging for warmth. I put my arm around him and pull him even closer. "Why are you even out here?" He asks. "Clearing my head and get things off my chest. I do it ever so often, when I need to." "You can always talk to me when you need to get something off your chest." I sigh. "I know I just, don't know how." I admit. "Well, let's start with this. How are you feeling, what are you feeling, and what's running through your head."

"I-I'm feeling like I'm breaking into a million pieces. My best friend is going to have trust issues with me, Mikasa is gonna hate my insides, I don't even know anything about Sasha! I'm not sure how to feel. And I can't help but replaying Mikasa repeatedly punching my face. The worst part was I felt I deserved it." I say looking into the night and watching passing planes. "Eren, don't best yourself up about it. How do you think I feel. When I saw Mikasa put ching you I felt betrayed because she's my own sister! We share the same DNA! Seeing her punch you I froze up. Not knowing how to act. It was either saw the man I love or be hated by my sister. I couldn't deal with it but," he starts tearing up. "I should've stopped her, I-I should've done something! " he wipes his eyes and I hug him tightly and kiss his head. "I'm sorry." I whisper. "Don't be, it's not your fault. I love you."He whispers. "I love you too Levi."

The next thing I know Levi is keeping in my arms. I smile at him and push the hair out of his face and close my eyes falling asleep myself.

I wake up to the light of the sun shining in my face. Levi's head is cuddled into my arm so his eye are protected from the sun. I pick him up along with the blanket and carry him through the window and gently lay him on the bed. I then put the blanket on the foot if the bed since both of us are where sweatshirts we don't really need it. I grab my laptop and flip it open and go on my messager thing. I click on the conversation with Armin.

"Hey buddy, I need to talk. To you about, you know... tell me when you're on." About two minutes later i get a reply. "Hey Eren, you don't need to talk to me about it get it. It's a hard thing to tell, I forgive you but I'm pretty sure Mikasa doesn't." I breath out a sigh of relief. Then I check the time. 6:45am. "Woah Armin how are you awake?" "I'd like to ask the same thing." "I slept outside and the sun woke me up." "I was doing research. Did you know that in Australia you can drink the rainwater it's so clean? How fantastic is that!!!" I smile as I re-read what Armin sent. He's always been quite the explorer.

We talk until 7:00am because Armin's mom is doing a 'mother son day' with him. I close my laptop and start laying down again until Levi (who I thought was sleeping) grabs me and pulls me into him. "Morning." He says sweetly. "Morning." I say muffled by his chest. "Hmm...I thought we were outside." "We were but just woke up and carried you in here." He ruffles my hair. "Thanks brat."

He gets up and take a shower while I make breakfast. When his shower finishes he comes into the kitchen in his uniform he has to wear while working at the coffee shop. His hair is shiny from just coming out of the shower. We have breakfast then I give him a bag with his lunch. "Have fun at work!" I call after him as he runs out of the flat. "See you when my shifts over!" He darts down the stairs and put the door.
