All that could be heard was the sound of heels hitting the floor before a voice suddenly called.
"Klaus, I thought you were going to call if anything happened!" a witch called as she walked into the living room that contained all the Mikaelson children. Ambrosine stopped and looked around at everyone; Klaus who still looked nervous, Kol who was ecstatic to see her, Elijah and Rebekah who were frozen in place and Finn who was still confused. "Ah, you must be Finn the eldest sibling. I'm Ambrosine, you can call me Rose. " the witch introduced herself as no on else was going to for her.
"Rosie- what- I- how-" Rebekah stumbled over her words gaping at her friend that she believed to be dead."
"Oh yeah. Umm, turns out I'm not. Shocker, I know. We can all move on with our lives now that that's sorted." The witch said clapping her hands together as she spun on her heel to look at everyone. Her attention latching on Finn after doing an assessment on everyone else. He was the only sibling she didn't know. When no one responded and more tense looks were shared among the siblings Klaus decided to speak.
"Alright, you guys can plot my downfall tomorrow there are empty rooms on the second-floor pick one." He dismissed while nodding to them. The Mikaelson siblings shared one more look of utter confusion and walked away to find their new rooms not arguing as they all sensed the rising tension as the witch stared down Finn. "Ambrosine."
"It was another dead end nothing to worry about." The witch sighed turning to face Klaus as the vampires walked out of the room.
"That's not what I'm concerned about but ok. I need to talk to you about my coffin. The locked one"
.
"Klaus' locked coffin. I don't know how to open it or what's inside. I was hoping you had some tips or an idea of how to approach opening it?" as soon as the coffin was brought up Ambrosine's face fell. She didn't know what the coffin held but it was definitely bad news. If Klaus Mikaelson was scared everyone else in their right mind should be as well.
"I don't know what's inside. Or how to open it. I never knew Klaus even had a locked coffin if I'm being honest, but I can lend you some of my grimoires. You might find something in there that will help you." The older girl stated making the younger girls face light up with joy as she threw her arms around Ambrosine for the second time that day.
"Words can't even begin to describe how much I love you! Thank you so much. I'm so happy you came back being the only witch was really stressful since I'm pretty new to this stuff."
"Anytime. That's what friends are for. I'll stop by your place tomorrow before I leave town and drop them off." The only response Ambrosine received was another bone crushing hug from a very grateful Bennett witch.
As the older witch went to walk away, she changed her mind plotting.
"Hey, actually Bonnie, why don't you wait until I come back into town. I can help you I just remember I have some spells that aren't in that grimoire that may help you." Rose offered innocently.
"Wait, really?" the older witch nodded, "Oh my God! Yes! I have no idea what I'm doing! Thank you. Thank you." The younger witch squealed excitingly
"I'm glad I could help. But I should probably go now. Sorry." Ambrosine replied smiling and turning around once more.
.
"I'm sorry Damon I don't know how to open it. I need more time" The Bennet witch argued over the phone.
"Yeah? Well, I gave you time and guess what? We don't have anymore. Open the coffin find a way. And do it fast."
"Just undagger the siblings leave the coffin it'll be a surprise for Klaus when we open it."
"Huh, that's funny. Rose told me to do the same thing a while back" Stefan mused from Damon's side of the call.
"Why didn't you tell me?" the older brother snapped glaring at Stefan, "It's a good idea. Call Klaus."
.
Ambrosine Lefay was always considered dangerous in the supernatural community. The witch had conrol over an enormous amount of power but that wasn't the part of her that was dangerous. The witch was always hard to read she was raised as a pathalotical liar when she lied her heart didn't jump, her face didn't change; she had no tells. When Ambrosine was lying could never be determine; was she bluffing or telling the truth. In 1592 when she became an immortal witch there were side effects that immediently appeared that no one expected or took into account as a possibility. The witch started experiencing dramatic mood swings the symptoms almost similar to bipolar. She often lost her temper and would tear apart villages without feeling any remorse. It was almost as if her humanity was off. But that was impossible. She's a witch not a vampire.
When ever Kol or another witch tried to question her about the process of turning immortal she brushed them off or brushed their heads off their bodies with a wave of her fingers depending who you were and what mood she was in. Eventually everyone gave up asking. The spell used is kept under lock and key; never let out of Ambrosine's, Kol's or Klaus' sight.
