Iris helped me to get up to my feet. "Thanks", I muttered in my breath. We continued walking further into the house. We decided to split up. I reached the kitchen. There was a small bottle lying on the floor. I picked it up to find out that it was an essence bottle. I opened the cap and sniffed inside. To my surprise, it smelled unusually disgusting! I checked the bottle sticker once again, it was vanilla essence. 'Then why the hell did it smell so bad!?' I pondered. I closed the cap and kept it safe in my small bag. I then searched for more clues in the house. There was a letter stating:

YOU did this!

I couldn't comprehend. Who is 'YOU'? I folded the fragile piece of paper, and put it inside the sleeve of my black sweater. I then entered the kitchen's storeroom. There were lots of unused things. The utensils were still lustrous and smooth. I could say that they were the supplements by just gazing at them. Hoping to find out about the murder, I walked on and on, until it was pitch black inside. I quickly searched for the torchlight. But it wasn't there. Worried, I searched for some other source of light. Luckily, I found a match box. But there weren't any match sticks inside it. Agitated, I decided to use my poor night vision. It was still developing, so I couldn't see things properly in the dark yet. I suddenly heard something. It was as if something dropped on my feet. I kneeled down and searched for whatever it was. I suddenly found a torch. I swiftly turned it on, only to see words written on the mirror in the end:

I hope you don't regret coming in.... Hopefully, you escape out ALIVE.....

It was written in fresh blood. Frightened, I turned around only to see a woman, whose head was cut into half, with only one hand and without toes or feet, no eyes except for black venom. Her mouth was covered in blood. I shouted in fear and started dodging and running. She was faster than I had expected her to be! I suddenly tripped only to discover that my leg covered in blood and wounds. I winced in pain, as she approached me holding a knife. I angrily glowered at her, and then boom! She fell to the ground. I stood up bravely and walked towards her. She got scratches, and was severely injured. She then turned very pale, before she let go of her dear life. After a while, I got back to my senses. How did she die when I did nothing? Did I have supernatural powers? I decided to hide all my thoughts, and stop worrying about it. I couldn't possibly have super powers, can I ?

I exited the store before anymore trouble. As I ran out, I spotted so many injuries on my body. But something bothered me. Why was there a half dead woman in this house? I opened my book and wrote the deductions I had made. I limped to the living room, to see the picture of Aunt Portia's friend again. Something was written below the picture:

Alexandria Night

I grabbed the picture and continued my search. I then found a diary. I sat on a broken couch as I opened it to start reading:

15th September, Friday, 1297
1:00 a.m

Dear diary,

Ic wandered alone in the captive, imagining it as a garden filled with white lilies and black roses. Mine papa had told me to stay strong. The last wish of thine is to come back to seek revenge for whatever thee and thy soudeours have done to me.

'Mortem ad vitam'

Suddenly, swift rushed towards me. She transformed to Ziana as she sat beside me. "What have you found?", she inquired. "What is the meaning of 'Mortem ad vitam'?", I asked. She advised me to check it out in the library. I agreed. She then showed me a diamond knife. She put it inside my bag. After Ziana left to explore, I found a huge book in the drawer. I turned the pages of it to see the picture of myself. Something in it shocked the hell out of me.
