_Chapter One: The Beginning_

Emily's life was a balancing act. As a part-time worker and university student, her days were filled with juggling responsibilities. Her father's passing when she was just 12 left her mother to care for her alone until she turned 20. Now, at 22, Emily felt compelled to contribute to their household income.

Every morning, Emily would bid her mother farewell, kissing her cheek before rushing to work. Her trusty car, Lizzy - a sentimental keepsake from her father - would carry her to her job at Le Salon de Beauté, an upscale boutique. As a salesgirl, Emily donned a uniform consisting of a black short skirt and red top, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

Mr. Chris, the seasoned guard, greeted Emily warmly as she arrived at 7:10 a.m. - a few minutes late, which she knew would displease her demanding boss, Miss Daisy Blanche. The French entrepreneur, renowned for her impeccable style and ruthless business acumen, had built the boutique into a thriving success. Her displeasure was palpable as she approached Emily, her heels clicking on the floor.

"Late again, my incompetent employee," Miss Blanche chided, her dark hair and red heels accentuating her poised demeanor. Emily apologized, citing traffic as the culprit, but her boss would have none of it. "Excuses, excuses - you never run out of them, do you? Just get back to work." With that, Miss Blanche strode off to her office, her personal assistant scurrying after her like a devoted puppy.

Shawn's Facade;

Shawn's confidence was unmistakable as he greeted his biggest client, Miss Robinson. He had built his car company from scratch, and at 31, he was a leading dealer in town. Miss Robinson's illegal race car company needed eight sports cars, and Shawn didn't hesitate to accept the deal.

Their meeting was brief, with Miss Robinson acknowledging Shawn's arrogance but appreciating the great deal he offered. After signing the documents, she left, and Shawn turned to his trusted P.A. and friend, Oscar.

With no more meetings scheduled, Shawn remembered his dinner date with Roxy, his stunning supermodel girlfriend. He arrived at her doorstep, accompanied by his chauffeur, and was taken aback by her breathtaking appearance in a blood-red see-through dress.

Over dinner and red wine at an exclusive restaurant, they chatted and laughed. As the night wore on, Shawn found himself increasingly captivated by Roxy's charm. When he walked her home, their goodnight kiss turned passionate, and they ended up in her apartment.

Their intense encounter left Shawn eager to keep Roxy by his side. He had a reputation for being focused and determined, but Roxy brought out a different side of him - one he couldn't resist.

Meanwhile, Emily confided in her best friend Bella, venting about her boss's constant belittling comments. "I don't know how much more I can take," Emily said, enjoying snacks in Bella's spacious bedroom. "But quitting isn't an option; I might never find another job."

Bella, from a wealthy family with hotel chains across the globe, reassured Emily, "Don't worry, I've got your back. If you ever need help, just ask." Emily appreciated the offer but couldn't bring herself to accept, pride and ego getting in the way.

As they watched movies, Bella received a late-night call from her sister, supermodel Roxy. The conversation sparked Emily's curiosity, especially when Bella mentioned her name and Le Salon de Beauté. Bella's eyes sparkled as she shared the news: "Guess who just called? My sister's manager wants to throw her a party, and she needs stunning outfits. I convinced her to shop at your boutique and give you credit – it'll earn you brownie points with your boss!"

Emily's gratitude overflowed. "Bella, you're amazing! I'm sure to get a promotion now. And you know how much my boss adores your sister; she's always raving about Roxy's style." Emily felt confident that this connection would seal her promotion, given Miss Blanche's obsession with the supermodel.
