CHAPTER 1.

An alarm starts going off. Kai groans tiredly his eyes heavy. He lazily reaches out for his phone. Pressing snooze.

𝟽:𝟷𝟶𝙰𝙼

Suddenly Kai's mother went to wake him up. "KAI GET UP! UR LATE." His mother says sternly she took one of his pillows and threw it on him. Kai felt a thud as he got hit. He sighed deeply and slowly got up.

He turned on the shower. The cold water hitting against his skin. Putting his head under water.

Kai grabs his towel and dry himself. He got out the bathroom. And felt the cold air around him making him shiver.

He went to dry his short hair. 'My hair is getting long..I need to cut it..'  thinking to himself.

Kai grabs his skirt and put it on. He button up his uniform. After that he wore his long socks.

He sighed uncomfortably pulling his skirt down more. Absolutely hating on wearing a skirt. But Kai had no choice. He had to follow the school's rules.

He grabbed his jacket wearing it. And slung his heavy bag onto his shoulders.

...

He sat on the silver benches. Waiting for the bus. His eyes flickered back to his phone when he got a notification from his teacher.

<[deadname] are u late?> Kai groans softly and replies. <Yes.> Before he looks up to see his bus here. He stood up and put out his hand out for the bus to slow down.

The music blasting in his ear. While he looks out the window of the bus.

Kai gets off the bus. Looking at his watch for the time. He sighed heavily knowing he was late.

He walked in the school. And to the post guard. "Late..again." The old man says while Kai passes his card to him. The old man took it and scanned it. Before going to type on the computer.

*Time skip to when their first lesson starts*

..

Kai was walking to his math class. A few students were there. He went to his seat and sat down. Suddenly his friend arrived. Giving her a soft smile. She smiled back.

"Heyy..I didn't see u earlier. Ur late huh?" She asked as she placed her bag down and sat beside him. "Yeah..I was tired." Kai replied. His fingers running to his hair.

*During lesson*

The female elderly who was our math teacher. Tasked us to do some work. Kai did. But his friend didn't. She was busy playing Kai's phone. Making him a bit anxious because he was scared that one of the teachers might take it away.

"Hey..Wanna go to the restroom?" His friend asked. Kai turned his head to her. He finished his work so why not.

The both of them were hiding in a stall. Kai took a long drag. While he exhaled smoke. "Like it?.." she asked. "Mhm..Thx for buying me one" "Your welcome." She says giving him a slight smile.

She was using his phone because hers got taken away for a case. His friend got into a riot. And sometimes she has to leave school early for the police to investigate her. And ask her questions.

The duo went back to class. And continued their work.

Kai took a deep breath. While he stood up and pass his paper to the teacher once he was done. He glanced at the time. It was ending soon in five minutes.

..

It was now recess and Kai was in the library. He doesn't eat in school. So most of the time he was in there. Doing his own things. Sometimes his friends do join him. But he would rather be alone.

Dan, his friend walked to him "[deadname]..U wanna go?" She asked. Kai looked up at her and nodded.

The duo went to the restroom.

Dan exhaled smoke. While she used Kai's phone. He was sitting on the toilet seat. The silence filling the air. "Dan.." Kai called out to her. "What?.." "..After school u think we can hang out?" He asked while he took a puff. "Nah..My dad wouldn't let me. Plus I can't runaway anymore. Don't wanna get my ass in trouble." Dan spoke while her eyes traveled back to the phone.

Kai nods. He took a heavy breath. They stayed there for sometime till recess was going to end soon.

Kai and Dan were walking down the stairs. All the students walking to their next lesson. Since recess ended.

*Time skip to when school ended*

Everyone went home but for Kai tho he was unlucky. He had art lessons. So he isn't free to go. He had a lot to do. his art work. Especially his presentation with his group.

𝟺:𝟹𝟶𝙿𝙼

Kai finally gets to go home free. He groans tiredly while he crossed the street. Suddenly his spider senses went off.

Kai was swinging and gliding through the air. His spider suit was a light grey and had a hood covering his head, attached on his suit. His lenses were full back, his webs outlined on the suit was white. Kai following his spider senses. And he found what was the problem.

It was a girl. Trying to commit. Standing on the edge of the roof. Everyone was crowding to look up. Kai panicked. He tried to slow his breath and landed on somewhere. He looked around for the firefighters or at least the police here.

They didn't arrive yet. So it was up to him.

Kai swing towards the girl but keeping a distant.
"Hey!" He called out to her. The girl looked at Kai. "Spider-Man?.. No. leave me alone!" She shouted at him. While she got closer to the edge.

"Wait-wait!!" He spoke with agency in his voice. "Look at me." The girl did. She was breathing too quickly and was tearing up. "Hey..I can see ur stress and upset. I want u to take slow deep breaths for me..ok?.." Kai spoke with a gentle tone. He slowly walked closer. The girl took deep breaths. She took a glance looking down. "No-no. Look at me."

She looks up at him. crying softly. "I can't do this anymore..What's the point?! Nobody cares about me–" "But I do–" Kai cuts her off. She looks at him for a few moments. "Listen..U are worth so much more, then u could ever think off..ok?.."

The girl started sobbing. She then accidentally slipped. "Sh!t-!" Kai cussed he quickly jumped down towards her. The girl screamed in fear.

Kai grunts as he tried to reach for her. He managed to grab her. He held her close. And shout out a web to slow down their falling. And landed on the ground safely.

Everyone started clapping and thanking spider man. There were even reporters rushing towards him. "Thank u..For saving my life." She says with a soft smile. Kai nods "No problem..hey be safe out there." Kai says. He notices people were crowding them and lights were flashing from cameras. So he quickly swings away.

Kai finally arrives home. He whines softly while he drops on the ground. He threw his bag aside. Kai quickly went to take a shower and to his bed. Passing out. After a long tiring day.
