(Taehyung's smile widens at Jungkook's confession, feeling victorious)
"Ah, see? Was that so hard to admit? I knew you couldn't fool me forever. I could see right through your tough guy facade all along" (Taehyung says to jungkook)
(Jungkook grumbles in defeat, knowing that Taehyung has gotten the better of him this time)
"Yeah, yeah, you're right, okay? I have feelings for her. Happy now?" Jungkook says to taehyung
(Taehyung grins, relishing in the fact that he got Jungkook to confess his feelings)
"Oh, very happy indeed. It's about time you admitted it. And I bet you're dying to go check on her right now, huh?" Taehyung says teasingly to jungkook
(As they both continue their banter Y/n comes out of her room)
(Taehyung and Jungkook both look up as y/n emerges from her room. Jungkook's eyes immediately find her, his gaze locking onto her as he watches her every move)
(Y/n heads towards the kitchen )
(Jungkook continues to watch her as she walks towards the kitchen. His heart races and he feels a strong desire to follow her, but he holds himself back. Taehyung notices his struggling and smirks)
(Taehyung leans in close to Jungkook, speaking quietly so only he can hear)
"Go on bud, follow her. I know you're dying to be near her right now" Taehyung says to jungkook
"Mm playing a cupid role in your little sister's life good starting hyung" jungkook says teasingly
(Jungkook hesitates for a moment, torn between wanting to be around her and trying to keep his cool. But the pull towards her is too strong, and he finally gives in)
"Alright, fine. But only for a bit, okay? I'm just checking on her, nothing more" jungkook says to taehyung with a smirk
(Taehyung chuckles, knowing that Jungkook's attempts at remaining casual are completely futile)
"Sure, whatever you say. Just go be a good boy and 'check on her' then. Take all the time you need. Be careful Bud if you hurt her in any ways you'll be dead " Taehyung says in threatening way to Jungkook
(Jungkook shoots Taehyung a glare, not appreciating his smugness. But he knows that Taehyung has a point)
"Yeah, yeah, I get it. I'll be careful. I won't do anything to hurt her, I promise" Jungkook says to taehyung
(Jungkook casually enters the kitchen, his heart pounding in his chest. He spots y/n in the kitchen and takes a moment to admire her from afar before approaching her)
Ouch!! (Y/n due to her clumsiness while going towards the dining table to eat food y/n hits her toe to the table)
(Jungkook hears her yelp and immediately rushes to her side, concern etched on his face)
Jungkook: "Hey, hey, you okay? You hit your toe?"
"Yahh what are you doing here I thought you went back" y/n says rubbing her toe
(Jungkook can't help but chuckle at her question)
Jungkook: "Oh wifey, It's Sunday remember"
"Ssss right " y/n says remembering what day today is
(Jungkook grins, amused by her momentary forgetfulness)
"That's right, I can't believe you almost forgot what day it is. Don't you remember? We have family Our both families dinner night today, wifey." Jungkook says to y/n bending to her height
"Aaa right I had forgotten🤦♀️" y/n says
(Jungkook chuckles, shaking his head at her forgetfulness)
Jungkook: "Ah, you're so cute when you forget things like that. But come on, no use in forgetting now, the dinner's happening tonight, remember?"
"Yup I remember clearly Mr" Y/n says to jungkook
(Jungkook's gaze drifts to her foot, where she had hurt her toe)
"Does it hurt bad? Let me see" jungkook says as his gaze drifts to her foot
"Ayy no need Mr my toe is fine" y/n says to jungkook
(Jungkook rolls his eyes, not convinced)
"You're always saying you're fine, even when you're not. Let me see your toe, I just want to make sure it's not badly bruised or anything"
"Ayyo It's a toe it will cure quickly in a mins bro it has happened to me many uncountable times" y/n says
(Jungkook frowns, not liking her dismissiveness)
"That's not the point, wifey. Even if it's just a toe, it doesn't mean it won't hurt. Let me just take a quick look. I promise I'll be gentle."
"No need" y/n says as she goes out from the dinner
(Jungkook watches as y/n walks out, still not satisfied that she won't let him check her toe)
"You're so stubborn, you know that? I just want to make sure you're okay, but you won't even let me take a look at your toe."
"Ayyo why are you worrying about my toe it's just a small incident Mr" y/n says to jungkook as she exits kitchen
(Jungkook sighs, getting frustrated with her stubbornness)
"Because I care about you, that's why. It doesn't matter if it's a small incident or not. I just want to make sure you're not in pain. Is that so hard to understand?"
(As jungkook says Y/n goes back to her bedroom)
(Jungkook watches as y/n heads back to her bedroom, feeling a mixture of annoyance and concern)
"Unbelievable. She's as stubborn as ever. Why can't she just let me help her?" Jungkook mentally says to himself
(Jungkook sighs and runs a hand through his hair, trying to tamp down on his frustration. He knows that trying to force y/n to do something she doesn't want to is futile)
(He decides to give her some space for now. In the meantime, he heads back to the living room where Taehyung)
(As Jungkook enters the living room, Taehyung looks at him, eyebrows raised in curiosity)
"What's with the frown, Bud? Y/n not cooperating again?" Taehyung asks Jungkook
(Jungkook plops down onto the couch next to Taehyung, a mixture of irritation and concern on his face)
"You have no idea. She hurt her toe in the kitchen but when I tried to check it, she brushed me off and went to her room. Told me she was fine and to not worry. She's so damn stubborn hyung, I swear." Jungkook says
(Taehyung pats Jungkook on the back, trying to comfort him)
"Relax, man. Y/n is tough. I'm sure she's fine. She's probably just being her stubborn self and doesn't want to admit that she's hurt." Taehyung says to Jungkook
(Jungkook sighs, knowing that Taehyung is right. But he can't help but worry about her nonetheless)
"Yeah, I know. But it just... drives me nuts when she's like this. I wish she would just let me take care of her, you know?"
(Taehyung chuckles softly, seeing the concern written all over Jungkook's face)
"You're so whipped for her, man. It's actually kind of endearing." Taehyung says
(Jungkook rolls his eyes at Taehyung's comment, but doesn't deny it)
"Yeah, yeah, I know. I'm hopelessly in love with her. Can you blame me? She's... everything to me." Jungkook says to taehyung
