"So, you explicitly told them not to say anything to me... Why? Why would you keep this a secret from me? I always thought we shared everything, y/n" Taehyung says to y/n in disbelief
"Hyung really i really wanted to tell you but also I didn't wanted to burden you with my things when you had your own things to put up with that year hyung" y/n says to taehyung
(Taehyung's chest tightens with a mix of emotions. He wants to remain angry but at the same time, he understands y/n's intentions)
"I appreciate your concern, but don't you understand that I would've wanted to be there for you? We are family, y/n. That's what family does. They support each other, through the good and the bad. You don't shoulder things alone. We share the burden." Taehyung says to y/n
"And hyung this is the main reason I don't want to get married to jungkook" y/n says revealing the truth behind the rejection of hers and jungkook's marriage
(Taehyung's eyebrows furrow as he absorbs her words)
"Wait, what? You're refusing to marry jungkook because of your health issues? That's not a good reason, y/n. You can't let that define your life choices like this." Taehyung says to y/n with his understanding voice hoping y/n would understand
"Aaa hyung Understand The doctor said it could pass on to my future child and if it does pass on my future child I'll seriously blame myself very badly" y/n says to taehyung
(Taehyung's concern intensifies as he considers the possibility. He struggles to find the right words.)
"I understand your worry, but have you considered the chances of it passing to your child? Have you discussed it with a doctor? There's always a chance it might not. You can't make decisions based on fears alone, y/n." Taehyung says to y/n
"Yes hyung I did the doc told that 25% of chances that my future child could get cancer till it turns 5 years old but after it turns 5yrs there's no need to worry about the cancer passing on to my future child" y/n says to taehyung with the hope of taehyung understanding her and her reasons
(Taehyung sighs heavily, the weight of 25% chance settling in his mind)
"25% huh... I can understand why you're hesitant now. But that still leaves 75% chance that your child will be healthy. You can't let that 25% chance dictate your entire life, especially when there's a 75% chance of a healthy child." Taehyung says to y/n with his understanding voice that there is still hope and chances for her future child would not get cancer
"Hyung Understand I don't want to ruin jungkook's life or that child's life to whom I'm going to give birth if I'm ever gonna marry" y/n says to taehyung
(Taehyung's frustration mixes with concern as he tries to reason with y/n)
"You're not ruining anyone's life. You're being unnecessarily hard on yourself. Jungkook loves you, and you love him. You can't throw that away based on a 25% chance. Have you even talked about this with him?" Taehyung says to y/n
"No and don't you dare say this to him" y/n says to taehyung with her serious tone
(Taehyung's resolve wavers, torn between respecting y/n's wish and his concern)
"How can I promise you that? You're talking about never getting married and having children. And you want me to keep this a secret from him? He deserves to know, y/n." Taehyung says to y/n
"Maybe in the future I could adopt a child hyung" y/n says to taehyung
(Taehyung tries to reason with her again, his voice filled with frustration)
"Adoption isn't the same thing as having a child of your own, y/n. And even then, you're still denying yourself a chance at a fulfilling relationship because of a 25% chance. That's not right. You can't let fear control your decisions like this." Taehyung says to y/n making her decide her life choice once again and give a taught about marriage"
"Aaa hyung" y/n says as she sits on the sofa covering her face with both of her palms
(Taehyung sits down beside her on the sofa, his expression filled with a mix of concern and frustration)
"Y/n, listen to me..." He tries to gently pull her hands away from her face
(Taehyung gently removes y/n's hands from her face, revealing her tear-streaked cheeks.)
"Please, look at me, y/n." His voice is softer now, tinged with a touch of pleading
(As she looks up at him with tear-filled eyes, Taehyung's heart aches at the sight)
"I know you're afraid, and I understand why. But you can't let that fear dictate your entire future. You deserve happiness, y/n. Don't let your health challenges define you or make you feel like you don't deserve a chance at love and starting a family." Taehyung says to y/n
"Idk hyung but I'm never ever gonna marry in this entire life" y/n says as she gets up and storms into her room and slams the door
(Taehyung watches as y/n storms off, her words and the sound of the slammed door echoing in the room. He remains seated on the sofa, conflicted and concerned about her decision)
"Damn it..." He mutters under his breath, running a hand through his hair in frustration
"Wait.... What she is never ever gonna marry in this entire life... Damn it" Jungkook mumbles to himself while he was standing at the main entrance as he eavesdroped every single conversation that has been done between y/n and taehyung
