The room was bathed in the soft glow of candlelight, casting flickering shadows across the walls. The air was filled with the heady scent of roses, mingling with the lingering traces of Alexander’s cologne. The door clicked shut behind them, and for a moment, there was only silence—a charged, expectant silence.

Alexander stepped closer, his hand reaching up to cup Liana’s cheek, his thumb brushing over her lips. The touch was gentle, but the look in his eyes was anything but. It was a look of possession, of desire barely held in check. “You are playing a dangerous game, Liana,” he murmured, his voice low and rough. “Do you understand what you’ve started?”

Liana’s heart pounded in her chest, but she refused to back down. She met his gaze head-on, her voice steady as she replied, “I know exactly what I’m doing, Alexander.”

With a low growl, Alexander yanked down the zipper of her gown, the silk sliding off her body like water, pooling at her feet. Liana stood before him, her breath coming in short gasps, her body trembling with anticipation.

Alexander’s eyes roamed over her, darkening with lust as he took in the sight of her in nothing but a lacy slip. “You are exquisite,” he breathed, his hands coming up to cup her breasts, his thumbs brushing over her hardened nipples.

Liana moaned at the sensation, her head falling back as his mouth descended to her neck, kissing and biting his way down to her collarbone. The
