Florence had been the first to know about Louis and Harry rekindling their relationship, but this time, Harry was determined to approach things differently. He felt ready to open up to his family and all his friends, tired of keeping this significant part of himself hidden. Embracing his true identity, he wanted to share it with everyone. The next hurdle was disclosing the news to his mum and sister. Although nerves accompanied the anticipation, the joy of being true to himself and keeping Louis by his side made it all worthwhile.

Feeling a bit anxious, Harry gathered the courage to open up to his mum and sister about his true self. Unsure of their reaction, he took a deep breath and began sharing. Much to his relief, they turned out to be incredibly understanding and supportive. Instead of judgement, the room filled with love. Harry felt a weight lifted off his shoulders, grateful that he could be genuine with his family. The experience strengthened their bond, showing that love and acceptance can overcome any uncertainty. With all this love and positive feedback he got from his family, he came out to the rest of his friends and family as well. After all this positive feedback he's gotten, he regretted not doing it earlier. He had lost so much time he could have spent happy with Louis. So he didn't want to waste any more time and wanted Louis to meet his family and they made it happen. Harry spent all day in the kitchen preparing a nice meal for all of them. Louis tried to be helpful, but on top of not being very talented in the kitchen he was really nervous - it was his first time meeting his partner's family. So he rather sticks with setting the table and leaves Harry to cook dinner.

The atmosphere in the appartement was warm and inviting as Harry hustled around the kitchen, preparing a special meal. Harry's nerves were still present, but the support he had received from his family had given him the strength to push through. Louis on the other hand was a total mess. "Lou, there is nothing to be worried about" Harry tried to calm him down. "They are going to love you, just like me. Trust me" he said while giving him a kiss. when Louis poked into the kitchen to check on Harry.

The dining table was set with care by Louis, who, though not particularly skilled in the kitchen, made up for it with his efforts in arranging the table settings. The room was filled with a mix of excitement and nervousness.

When the doorbell rang, Harry's eyes lit up with excitement. He couldn't wait for Louis to meet his family. Grabbing Louis' hand, he dragged him to the door. As Harry swung the door open, a bright smile on his face, he proudly introduced Louis to his family. "Louis, this is my wonderful mum and that young lady is my lovely sister, Gemma," he beamed, gesturing towards them, who greeted them with a warm smile. "And this is my amazing Louis," Harry continued with a grin. "Nice to meet you, come in" was all that came out of Louis' mouth, still being nervous.

As they all sat down, Gemma curiously asked how they met. "Lou is an amazing tattoo artist" Harry said while pulling up his sleeve "see this rose? That was him." A big grin was on Harry's face when he talked about Louis. Slowly Louis felt less anxious and together with Harry he told the story of how they randomly met again in Italy. "That's a beautiful story." Harry's mum said while grabbing Louis' hand to give it a little squeeze. The conversations flowed easily, and Louis, despite his initial nerves, found himself fitting seamlessly into the dynamic. The family genuinely liked Louis, and their laughter echoed through the room, creating a memorable evening filled with connection and acceptance.

As they left, they exchanged hugs, sealing the warmth of the evening and the newfound bond between Louis and Harry's family. "It was nice meeting you Louis" Gemma said while leaving. "Hope we can do this again soon some time" Louis responded as Gemma and Harry's mum made their way out of the door. Closing the door behind them Louis sighed in relief. "See, they love you," Harry said while squeezing Louis' face, "but what's there not to love about you". Louis' reply was to give Harry a kiss.
