Part 5

Your week off was over so you had to go back to work. You certainly missed your friends and colleagues, but the job itself is a different story. The stress it gives you is something you would rather not want, but still have to accept.

A lot has happened in the past few days. Because after the first sex you had with Joe, it didn't stop there. Almost every day afterward you did the same thing in different places in your flat.

It's something you won't get tired of so you hope it won't end. The vibe in your flat has also changed completely. Because there's a tense air between you and Joe. And that tells that what's going on between the two of you has completely changed.

You're no longer the normal flatmates as you were before. Everything has changed and therefore also the relationship between the two of you. The feelings you have for him grow stronger every day and it becomes more and more difficult for you to hide them.

But it's not like Joe puts in any effort to hide his feelings away. Because you've now realized that he has the same feelings for you. He has told you several times that he loves you, but that's always wile having sex and he doesn't realize it afterwards.

You wish he would ask you out. That he wants to put an end to being flatmates. You want to be with him and be able to say that you live with him. But you're afraid that you'll force everything and that's the last thing you want.

So you'll see what the future brings you. But you have a good feeling about it.

Today was your first long day back at work. It was nice, but you're still happy to be back home. Then you can take a warm bath and relax on the couch. Then you see Joe again and everything is fine again.

As always, you put your keys in the bowl, take off your coat and shoes and go to the living room. Your flatmate is not home yet, so that means you've the flat to yourself for a while. You want to start making dinner right away, so you can eat together when Joe gets home.

You take the ingredients out of the refrigerator and prepare the food.

It's just before you finish that Joe comes home. He had a shooting day today that wasn't far from home. This allowed him to eat at home during his lunch break, which you realized when you saw the dishes when you got home.

"Hey." He says as he gives you a hug from behind. His arms go around your hips as he rests his head on your shoulder, so he can see what you're preparing.

"Hey, how was work?"

Before he lets you go, he presses a kiss to the spot between your shoulder and neck. "Good, we were able to film a lot of scenes in one day because it went so smoothly." He says. He sits down on his chair and waits there until the food is ready, it is clear that he is hungry.

"How was your first day back at work?" He asks. He should have reassured you this morning because you were very nervous, for no reason really. He said that everything was going to go well and that it was going to feel like you had never been away.

And he was right, because when you sat down at your desk earlier today it felt like you had been there the day before.

"It wasn't too bad. It was nice to see everyone again, you were right this morning." You say. You smile at your statement. Of course he's right, he's always right. (According to him)

But suddenly something occurs to him that makes his smile disappear.

You work with a guy you get along well with. His name is Josh and you've already told Joe a lot about him. Joe was always jealous of that guy, the fact that he's not the only guy in your life. He was always afraid he would lose his chance to that jerk.
