Twisted lies, a tangled web
of deceit and betrayal, all that is said
In the shadows, they lurk and spread
Like a poison, infecting hearts and headsThey whisper sweetly in your ear
Promises of things so dear
But be find the façade, there is fear
Of the truth that will soon appearLike a spider spinning its web
The lies entangle, slowly spread
Capturing hearts, filling with dread
As the truth becomes clearer, the lies are deadBut still they persist, twisting and turning
Reaching out, the flames still burning
Their tangled web, constantly churning
As they weave their lies, hearts are yearningThe truth may be hard to face
But lies, they leave a bitter taste
Like a poison, spreading with haste
Destroying trust, leaving hearts disgracedSo beware of twisted lies
That hide behind innocent eyes
For in the end, they will rise
And bring about their own demiseBut for now, they weave their web
Of deceit and betrayal, hearts left dead
The twisted lies, filling heads
With doubt and fears, until they shedThe truth will always win in the end
Shining bright, it will mend
The broken hearts, the wounds it will tend
And the twisted lies will no longer bendSo let the truth be your guide
And in its light, you will abide
No longer will the twisted lies hide
For the end, they will subside
