11 . Am I in Love?

Jungkook throughout the day is completely quiet and keeps thinking about that incident. He's in the cafeteria with his friends holding banana milk not drinking. Looking at nothing sighing every now and then.

He's friends exchange looks not knowing what's wrong they asked but only get "nothing just tired". They sigh not liking seeing Jungkook all upset and lost.

Jm : kookie you know who's my neighbor? You can never guess how the person is?
He asked with an excited tone trying to create curiosity in Jungkook.

Jk : you're saying like your neighbor is Mr. Min?
He said in a low voice like a whisper looking down holding his banana milk in his hand.

Jm : how you know. Oh my god.
He was shocked by how Jungkook guessed in the first go.

Sy : YOU'RE NEIGHBOR IS NONE OTHER MR. MIN.
He screams taking the whole cafeteria attention. Jimin glares at him and picks his fork.

Jm : tell the whole world ok not to leave a single person. Ok
He said in anger and yell-whispered. Sightly poking fork in his arms.

Sy : ouch!! Just I got sho-
They looked at Jungkook and sigh. He was still like that even though they tried so much. He sat quiet looking at all, silent Jungkook which is a rare sight which none of them liking it .

Lunch break over they went back to class. Jungkook sits in his usual place besides Soyoung. Yoongi comes to teach.

Yg : Class please open the page 81 and solve the sums in your book then show me.

He said shuffling of pages can be heard in the classroom. Jungkook holding pen in his hand and blankly looking at the book. Yoongi notice.

Yg : Jungkook? Show me did you start solving.
Yoongi took his book and saw nothing was written. He sigh.

Yg : what's this huh? You didn't write anything I said to solve sums and y-
He scolded him Jungkook silently looking at him.

Jk : I am sorry Mr. Min
The whole class includes yoongi gasp hearing Jungkook apologizing that to "Mr.Min".Yoongi was utterly shocked he doesn't know what to say. Cuz he was expecting banter not an apology, that too from " Jungkook " .

Yg : s-sit down.
He said in a shocked voice his words stumbled and walked to the podium.

The whole day at school spent in Jungkook didn't talk much. He came back home and went straight to his room. That incident kept flashing in his mind. He doesn't  know what's wrong with him why he's so hurt.

It's been hours since he was laying in bed. He flinched  hearing a knock on the door. He sigh and sat on the bed.

Jk : who's there?

Jin open the door with huge smile holding banana milk.

Jin : Kookie
He entered in room and sat besides him.

Jk : hyungie
He said in small smile and looked at him.

Jin : what with that voice and this look?
He frown and looking at Jungkook.

Jk : Nothing is wrong hyungie.
He try to assure him with smile.

Jin : Jungkook you didn't make that face even when the limited edition of Iron man socks you didn't get. Ok there's something wrong. Tell me
His voice is gentle yet firm.

Jk : Nothing hyungie ok.

Jin : Wait did your trio fought no you guys can only stay mad at each other last for a hour. Did any teacher say something .No they can't dare to first your background and you yourself not less then a devil.

Jungkook looked at him in disbelief seeing Jin guesses. Jin still looking at him try to understand.

Jk : Hyungie sto-
He was about to stop him

Jin : is something related to Mr. Kim?
He said in unsure and anticipation voice. Saying his thought looking at Jungkook's reaction.

Jk : What? Really why would Mr. Kim will effect me and why I will be upset because of him. There's nothing to do Mr. Kim ok don't make such assumptions. There's nothing to do with Mr. Kim. Yes. Yeah yes.
He said immediately and assuring couple times there's no to Mr. Kim.

Jin : are you tell me this or assure yourself  that it's nothing to do with him but you know it does related to him.
He said looking at Jungkook who was flidding his fingers.

Jk : what you're saying hyungie
He said in nervous voice.

Jin : Jungkook just say what happened
His voice is firm and hold authority.

Jk : today when I went to give him flowers and chocolate which I brought as gift there was a female

Jin hear him with giving complete attention. Jungkook continue and told him the complete incident what he said how Taehyung reacts.

Jin : you really said those things?
Asked in anticipation and disbelief can't believe.

Jungkook look down holding bedsheet in guilt.

Jin : but why? See jungkook I know you don't like few things but you never go below the belt that's not your thing you prank then, annoy them but this . Tell me honestly why?

Jungkook gulped down at the firm tone of the Jin looking at him disappointment. Jungkook let out shaky breathe.

Jk : I....don't know hyungie. Why I talk like that? Why I got hurt hearing Taehyung said he wasn't expecting me to act like that.
He said his voice low and vulnerable having hint of frustration why he did that.

Jin : neither do I kookie. Tell what you were feeling what's wrong?
His voice was gentle and comforting trying assuring him caresses his cheeks.

Jk :hyungie I didn't like
He said in small voice looking said him making him confused.

Jin : what kookie?
Asked gently looking at him trying to understand him.

Jk : that she was with Mr. Kim. Him talking to her they look.....close. I was salty about what said but because I didn't like her presence there. I don't know why hyungie. I know Ms Lee  I never feel this towards her that irritation. I just I can't understand

His voice is low, vulnerable, confused and frustrating. Looking around trying to keep his emotions in cheek. Unassured what he's feeling why he's that way.

Jin hold his hand in soft grip gently caressing his knuckles. He looked at him and he knew he had to ask , this to Jungkook . He takes the deep breath.

Jin : I don't know it's really right to ask but Kookie. (He left unsure sigh looking into his eyes) Are you in love with Mr. Kim?

His voice was unsure looking at Jungkook his expression who himself completely shocked.

Jk : Am I in love? With Mr. Kim?
His voice low try keep his emotions in check.

He again repeat to him in low voice like a whisper

Am I in love?
